I think we would all do that for $100m if we also had access to the best nutritionists and training teams for 6 years as well.

    Some perspective needed I think.
That isn't exactly true though is it. Social media was filled with comments that at first he would never fight AJ. When it was announced lot of people were still claiming he would pull out. Then there were all those, lot of them, claiming it will be staged. Wasn't staged he got his jaw broken. I'll give him the credit. I don't give AJ any credit for taking 6 rounds to stop a youtuber. Yeah he made it awful running and clinching but AJ looked flat footed and slow himself . I'm no fan of the youtuber either I only watched his 2 fights when he fought pros Fury and AJ and he lost both as expected. AJ is washed. If he did not fight a youtuber he was going to fight Chaney (not even a top 50 heavyweight), shows how much he has fallen off. I don't even expect him to fight anyone that is a threat next, will be another pointless opponent to get to the Fury bag

This is it exactly. If he had his way, he would have fought Tank 100% He took the money AND RAN quite literally. He was basically forced into this fight by Netflix. AJ was the only available option that could draw money on short notice.

Some people are just like that, they don't have a normal "fear level", it's the same with like extreme sports athletes etc.

The Mike Tyson fight was a real fight (just one vs a 58 year old)

Jake isn't a "Disney kid", he's been training boxing with the highest level of coaching for 6 years now, he's got some guts, he's got a bit of athleticism about him.

Especially in the heavyweight division we have fat puddings like Dave Allen who can't even show up to a fight in shape.

anyone would be tought and brave for millions of $$$. and It's only boxing not a battlefield.

You are right. He is breath of fresh air. He has breathed life back into the sport of boxing. I don’t know whether his fights are scripted or not.

However, there is one thing that I do know. He is very charismatic. People all over the world tune in by the millions just to see him fight.

He is a great social media influencer. He almost influenced me that he was going to knock Anthony Joshua out and I believed him and I’m also a boxing fan too.

I was neutral on Jake before last night

I'm warmed up to him now

he was already rich young and had it all

then chose to test himself by pro boxing for money

fighting to get money is much harder than the other options that Jake had to get paid

definitely braver than most given the position he's in

rich people tend to be ussy

Jake could have just sat back and continue being only a YouTuber for $$$$

Yes, that is very true. This kid is box office. Whether us boxing fans want to admit this fact or not.

He has taken his online profile as a YouTuber and social media influencer to a whole different level.

Also, he is giving us boxing fans the fights that we want to see win or lose.
