So Hagler definitely isn't an ATG then since he beat no prime HOFers.

Not a lot of people, only the judges who voted for canelo did, not even Saul believes he got a draw.

Hearns was 26 years, 40 wins 1 loss to Srl where he was outboxing Srl up until the 14th rd stoppage

He was in his prime still

Canelo Alvarez still has a better resume, and individual wins than Terrence Crawford 'he was an undisputed Champion and rated as pound for pound one of the best fighters in the world for many years consistently, he is definitively an all-time great fighter. If you are one of the best fighters of your entire generation, then automatically you become a all-time great fighter'.

Note: Canelo Alvarez also competed in the latter half in potentially the second greatest welter weight era of all-times 'competing against fighters such as Floyd Mayweather Junior, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley in the conclusive stages of their careers. The experience and wins which he achieved against some of those past great fighters such as Cotto and Mosley, only bolsters his resume even more'.

I would rate Canelo Alvarez as an all-time great fighter, because? he acquire titles, took on all comers and he does have great individual wins. As I have stated at the beginning of my posts, astonishingly Canelo Alvarez on a fight by fight basis still has a by far better resume than Terrence Crawford. It was fortunate for Crawford that he landed the Alvarez fight when he did, and to his credit got the win.

Now compared to past great fighters such as Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather Junior, Manny Pacquiao and Roy Jones Junior. I would rate Canelo Alvarez a level below all of those fighters in terms of pure ability. Even fighters like Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, and Ronald Winky Wright I would back to beat Alvarez at their peak.

But that was where Canelo Alvarez was fortunate in his career, he came into the sport during the latter stages of that great welter weight era 'and then after the retirements of Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao? It was Canelo Alvarez who took over as one of the premier boxing champions in the sport. And he has remained at that level until very recently. That definitively qualifies him as an all-time great fighter' etc.
