I just saw the video with Crawford torching the WBC. He’s riled up because the WBC is asking for a bigger sanctioning fee than the other sanctioning bodies. Mauricio demanded an apology on top of that and Crawford didn’t take too kindly to it.

They picked the wrong person to bully. Crawford is not going to be pushed around. Lol

Sulaiman also noted that Crawford, 42-0 (31 KOs), failed to pay sanctioning fees from his August 2024 win over unbeaten Israil Madrimov. Crawford won the WBA 154lbs title that evening, along with the WBO interim belt and with the WBC having sanctioned the bout as a title eliminator at the request of Crawford and his team.

So did bud have to pay the wbc for that fight after all?

The WBC and Mauricio Sulaiman are the most corrupt sanctioning body in the world today. Why does Bud has to pay double 6 percent? While the other sanctioning bodies cap their titleholder fees at 3 percent

you didn't read the article. wbc wants 0,6%, not 3% for this bout since purses are excessive. 300 000 is cap.

i don't know how much was his purse vs. madrimov. sulaiman clearly stated that crawford's team WANTED it to be wbc eliminator + wba title fight + wbo interim title fight. it was very unusual they allowed it. the only reason was to get a lot of money. but why crawford wanted all that KNOWING the price, i don't know. that was a bad decision. wbo interim put terence in line for fundora anyway. he didn't need to be wbc's #1 also to fight fundora. and when the time came to order that fight, crawford wasted everybody's time and declined. what was the point? not to mention wba full belt means more than any eliminator or interim belt.

for his bout vs. canelo, he knew what was the price (300 000). he ACCEPTED it. both fighters have to pay sanctioning fees. they could have fought in a non title fight. both were famous enough for that. but no. they wanted to fight for these belts. then pay for them. simple. crawford is guilty here 100%.

sulaiman is guilty for other things. for example, if terence didn't pay for his bout in 2024, why did mauricio sanction his next bout more than a year after? s c u m bag isn't interested in integrity or honour. money is all mauricio cares about. sulaiman's to blame for sanctioning canelo - crawford as undisputed (but imagine the backlash if he didn't).

yeah i thought i had made a mistake in saying the wbc were due cash from the madrimov fight i thought i had read the article wrong but having said that it seems it was common knowledge bud did not pay sanctioning fees for that fight either so the wbc knew this was something that was quite likely to crop up seems to me anyway

image if the wbc had sent bud a bill for their usual 3% for buds fee of 50 mil that would be a bill of 1.5 mil to pay to suliman, buds head would have exploded

300 000 is the maximum they take from one fighter for one fight. that's what he's trying to say. and in this case it's only 0,6% and not 3% (normal fee) like some people complain.
