    This 100%.

Bud should technically be paying a fee for a shot at the belts.

Also, Sulaiman is a fool if he was just expecting Bud on good faith to pay the fees WITHOUT a contract in place.

When you get to where he is in the game you don't have to play the sanctioning bodies games. Every fighter around 154-175 would take the fight with Bud in a heartbeat for the chance to knock him off belts or no belts on the line.

Bud challenged Spence for his belts, Madrimov for his belt and he challenged Canelo for his belts. That's prize fighting. Bud knows the sanctioning game, and if he didn't want to play it, he should have challenged those fighters with no belts on the line.

Mauricio Sulaiman demands Crawford either pay him $300,000, on time like everybody else, or there would be problems...
As for Turki Al-Sheikh....Sulaiman demands everyone defend his business model against any attempt to destabilize his steady flow of income.

'The WBC stripped lineal champion Miguel Cotto of his middleweight belt Tuesday, just four days before his megafight against former unified junior middleweight titlist Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas.

While Cotto remains the lineal champion -- the man who beat the man who beat the man, etc. -- he was relieved of the green-and-gold belt for what the WBC called noncompliance with the organization's rules and regulations.

Sources involved in the fight say Cotto refused to pay the WBC a $300,000 sanctioning fee to have the title on the line'

upfront payment demanded for cotto but not bud

Crawford told Suliaman that the sport that Suliaman has been been bleeding out, will go on without him but that he was gonna end right here, on this funky floor over $9800.

'Mayweather failed to pay the $200,000 sanction fee required by the World Boxing Organization for the belt he won on May 2 when he defeated Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas by the deadline, which was the end of the business day on Friday. So on Monday, the Puerto Rico-based organization stripped Mayweather of its title.'

Boxing is the only sport where the champion has to pay for his trophy or belt. De****able greed by the WBC and sanctioning mafias. In tennis, the champion of the tournament wins a trophy and a check. Shame on boxing for stealing money from champions. De****able
