"Note:- His Excellency DOESN'T use multipliers as multipliers are for WIMPS!"

I wouldn't get rid of the multipliers as they are too popular and give the game a "gambling" hook (without losing money). And ultimately all's fair because EVERYONE gets them.

One thing I would suggest is a non-multiplier bonus; maybe if a person makes it to the top five at the very end of the game without having used a single multiplier gets a huge point bonus at the end (kind of like how perfect picks give a bonus). Ultimately, it's Koba's call - he's the head PICK EM honcho.

Understood but can't we just try ONE session without the multipliers? If it fails, we can always revert to the old rules for the following season?

You could add points at the end of a season for each unused multiplier a person has. A certain amount for each 2x left, another amount for each 3x, another amount for each 5x.

I don't want to make a big deal about it because I RESPECT the hard work you all put in. However, how can somebody feel like a 'champion' knowing that their points tally was inflated because they got a multiplier right?

Honestly, in my opinion, Pick 'Em should work like a professional soccer/basketball league where you only get awarded points for winning and NO extra/bonus points!

Anyway, I've said my piece so will just leave it at that but it would be nice to try just ONE season without multipliers (and save you all some time and work in the process!).
