Benavidez is a cereal box with fast hands

Bivol school him. Dudes footwork is legit garbage.

Yarde just let him tee off on him, and threw the weakest straight punches I’ve ever seen

Fat Dave is very good and could be great

indicator of greatness beating a shared opponent better than the prior all time great Artur did

Fat Dave finally has this indicator now from Buff Guy Yarde

I favor Fat Dave over the version of Artur he could fight. Buff Guy Artur will be coming off arguably 3 back to back losses to Top Soviet Bivol.

Artur took a lot of high impact clean shots to the head in these 3 fights

and he’ll probably be 42 by then coming time Fat Dave faces him

Yarde was clearly more scared of David than Beterbiev. He looked terrified all fight and was scared to commit to his punches. Spent the whole night on the back foot. David is just different. He batters Beterbiev and Bivol as well.

Top Soviet Bivol would spend most of the fight outmaneuvering Fat Dave. Not only does Bivol have the best footwork he also has the FASTEST Feet in these big man weights

Fat Dave has fast hands but okay foot speed

Should an opp get through Bivol movement in Artur fights Top Soviet Bivol has shown that he will clinch or even use his head to stuff an opponent offensively

Top Soviet Bivol fast hands body head combos would be a problem for Fat Dave. Caleb and Andrade would have him shell up in a high guard and square up with these quick bunched punches

what Fat Dave does better than Buff Guy Artur:

        Chin
        Defense
        Handspeed
        Consistency to the body
        Creative combination punching
        Maybe the jab

what Buff Guy Artur does better than Fat Dave:
        Back foot boxing
        Power
        Consistently jabbing
Overhands [power punch that Bivol most open for] Crosses Straights

Rusty Gvozdyk of the Soviet School Of Boxing was able to counter Fat Dave with rights in the final 4

Fat Dave has a great chin and can fight through being wobbled

Buff Guy Artur does not have a great chin and needs seconds to recollect himself whenever he’s rocked

Buff Guy Yarde has to catch ‘em with big counter bomb singles

Once his main asset power didn’t make an impact he had no ideas

Buff Guy Yarde is courageous but limited

Gvozdyk was taking all kinds of sht from Fat Dave yet finished the fight the stronger of the two

But up against Artur Gvozdyk will was broken

Green Morrell who had a questionable game plan also finished his fight with Fat Dave the stronger of the two

still open for a right over the top

left hand low when he goes into load up on his own wide right in the pocket

                  Gvozdyk took advantage of it

                  Cuba wobbled him for it

Buff Guy Yarde was able to get a good counter in

3 is a pattern. It’s an exploitable habit

Buff Guy Yarde jab defense was awful

Top Soviet Bivol parry jab counter or catch and shoot with his stick

Fat Dave often one speeds his jab

Agreed, he looks very basic. I'm not interested in the "could be great" comments, he's 28 and unlikely to improve much. He's good at making weight and then putting it back on to give himself an advantage. Zurdo will tune him up.
