Your fanboyism is deluding you. Your guy is very basic, just good at using the weigh-in process to his advantage. He has nothing like the craft of Bivol and will probably get tuned up by Zurdo (i.e. another person with more craft than him).

He's built his name being the guy Canelo wouldn't fight and subsequently been elevated by boxing hipsters (like you) way beyond his achievements. He's not that guy, nor "different".

When David does it it’s bad

but when bud walks around 185+ and boils down to to 135-147 to weight bully those guys while enjoying a half a foot reach advantage… that’s ok… he a master boxer lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not illegal when David was holding Yarde's head down on the ropes and repeatedly punching him in the face?

You're usually allowed to punch with the free hand. I'll need to watch it again but I think Yarde may have actually had hold of David's other arm during that moment.

Really want to see him with Bivol

Beterbiev is slowing down, his secong Bivol fight was the first time I ever seen him tired, usually he has an excellent gas tank. Bivol 1 he was the fresher guy. So i dont really want to see Beterbiev-Benavidez at this point because its a 40 year old version of Beterbiev and doesnt really tell us what happens prime for prime.

Bivol has good conditioning too. David looked good last night but we also seen David look tired in his first fights at 175 so I want to see how it goes, I think him and Bivol depends on who tires first as neither has one punch power and both also have good defense.

Those shots were hurting yarde last night. It didnt look like Gvozdyk or Morrel were really hurt by them just outworked.

He has a style that requires stamina and high output which he has but then hes also making these massive weight cuts then I predict that will shorten his career. Those guys fizzel out around 33-35, look at Rickey Hatton as an example

Fat Dave has gone from underrated to overrated in the span of 2 fights

1 fight is all it takes to change public perception of a fighter

Fat Dave has the next best chin at 175 right behind Top Soviet Bivol

Bivol has the better stamina. Rusty Gvozdyk and Green Morrell were able to get back into the fight in each of their final 4 rounds with Dave where he slowed down and took his foot off of the gas pedal

Fat Dave averaged 45 punches thrown per round against Gvo and Cuba. He isn't as high volume as people believe

Bivol who is sometimes seen as a sniper did 40 a round in his two fights with Artur

Top Soviet is a top 3 durable guys in boxing today up there with TBud and Saul. Bodies can take it and chins can take it

Dave chin and defense are better than Artur's

If his footwork is garbage how was he able to close the distance effectively and consistently? You don't know boxing if you think anybody has an easy night against him.
