I may be the biggest, longest standing Usyk fan on this site, and I totally agree with you. I hate this HW landscape for Usyk right now. The biggest money fights are all repeats, the most worthy opponents are not big money fights. No idea what a 2 division undisputed, undefeated champ is supposed to do here. He does not want to retire, but he also does not want to waste what he has left.

There may be a method to Usyk's perceived madness. First, he beat Anthony Joshua to become the unified HW champion OTW. Then, he beat Tyson Fury to become the undisputed HW champion, Then, he vacated the IBF title and later beat Dubois to become the two-time undisputed HW champ, Now, he's vacated the WBO title. If he comes back and beats Wardley, he'll then have tied Muhamad Ali as a three-time undisputed HW champ. Barring getting old overnight, I think he can pull it off. He may be too old to do it four times, though.
