You know it's Golovkin because the idiots have to find people he never was in the same weight class as to try to throw dirt on his name.

They can never name middleweights GGG ducked because it didn't happen.

    Big Drama Show indeed.

It's ultimately prizefighting, the name of the game is MONEY - unless it's mandatory a fighter would be foolish not to approach fights with a business head on. fighters do not have an obligation to make fights that you want to see...

Besides are you really suggesting Lara would've been a difficult fight for GGG? Jarret Hurd very nearly knocked Lara out FFS and he is a 4/10 pressure fighter...

Was Boo Andrade "avoided" by other boxers? What is the definition of "avoided" in Lucas Ketelle's dictionary?

"Alimkhanuly has had an odd run. In fact, at one point he was the mandatory challenger for Andrade and the two could have faced each other in a consequential bout in 2022. That bout didn’t happen"

is lucas being comical here? the fight didnt happen because andrade vacated his belt to avoid him

            Garbage
            Not worth reading

Unless you're a HW, you can move around and fight opps at any other div
Instead of fighting bums in your own div, fight bigger bums.

nobody "avoided" andrade or lara. When there is not a single compelling reason to fight someone, "not" fighting them is not a duck. Andrade and Lara couldnt sell out their own dinner tables, were notoriously difficult to negotiate with, and did not have styles that 99% of ticket buyers want to see. It wasnt that they were avoided, it was that there was no real reason for the top guys to fight them in the first place............

mccallum was avoided only by hearns.
sergio martinez had his first title fight at 35. that's worse than anybody on the list.

GGG also avoided Andrade, and he wasn't as ducked as people think. Dmitry pirog SIGNED TO FIGHT HIM before injuring his back permanently. Pirog would have stopped the hype train. Felix sturm and Miguel cotto ducked GGG. Canelo aged him out. Thats it. GUILLERMO RIGONDEAUX LITERALLY GOT BLACKLISTED AND HAD AN ENTIRE WEIGHT CLASS SCARED. TERENCE CRAWFORD HAD AN ENTIRE PROMOTIONAL COMPANY AFRAID TO MATCH ANY OF THEIR FIGHTERS WITH HIM. Cmon now.
ward literally didnt want to fight ggg and his own promoter said it in court but sure thing. his own promoter said ward wouldnt fight the guys hbo wanted like bute, ggg etc...he only wanted guys like sartison. hbo said the exact same thing.

if you are referring to the 2015 offer which would have forced ggg to postpone any possible canelo fight in order to fight ward...thats not a serious offer. wards own promoter said "we didnt know ggg signed to fight lemiuex" yet their offer was to fight ggg in a years time, not when hes available now but when he was supposed to fight the cotto/canelo winner since he was mandatory. thats not a serious offer. its publicity. if he wanted to fight ggg he would have made him an offer to fight right then and there, he didnt. he also had no intentions of going back to 168 where hadnt fought for years. just publicity since ggg punked him earlier.

lara called out ggg and that means what? nothing. ggg called out floyd i guess floyd ducked him? they werent in the same division and lara did nothing to get the fight. he also said this "I'm not sure what the budget is on HBO. Lara commands a lot of money so I cant say the fight will be simple to make. We got to make more money than what he's made in the past for Golovkin" pricing himself out before even negotiating lol

Lara ended up fighting a ton of good fighters either way. Andrade never did.
