Sad state of affairs for both fighters if it happens - AJ for fighting a Youtuber and Jake Paul for being in a fight where he's a dead cert to get brutally destroyed.

That said getting annihilated by AJ could be a good move for Paul as it would facilitate more big money fights with other accomplished boxers in the future.

How did fury price himself out when he's the guy who's made the bigger purses?

If AJ doesn’t knock this guy out or loses to this guy. Then I wouldn’t know what to say about this current era of Heavyweight fighters.

It would go down in history as the worst era of Heavyweights ever. First, Tyson Fury lost to an MMA fighter but won the decision.

Now Joshua is squaring up against a part-time fighter who is a YouTuber and social media influencer. It would be both embarrassing and pathetic.

i know, he will pull his shots
What’s worse? AJ pulling his shots or him getting KTFO by a YouTuber? I would say the latter.

I think even taking this fight is a bad look for AJ, forget what happens in the ring. He is punting on competitive boxing, and contributing to the decay of the sport. Well done "mate"

This may sound absurd but I view this as a 50/50 fight. AJ is a ruined fighter now whose self- confidence is broken and best days are behind him.

He no longer believes in himself or trust his chin. Matchroom and Eddie Hearn would be more than happy to cash Joshua out for the right fee.

He’s been on the shelf for several months. Ever since he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois. So his elite years are over. He is officially a gatekeeper status now.

Andy Ruiz, right now, would murderize JP.

I wouldn't worry about AJ being shot vs PJ
However, the script won't allow AJ to really fight JP
