Fight should be 50-50…neither guy has a belt…and will make the most money with each other…entertaining a Spence fight with all that he’s been through???…How U Gonna Do That???…

And nowhere does it mention money ???

I thought money was the root of fight not happening

He’s still going to get his ass whupped though but let’s see if Oscar De La Hoya and Eric Gomez are going to allow Vergil to sign the damn contract.

Jaron has signed his portion of it.
        Jaron signed sh/t

Lmfao at this assumption when Biots hasn’t fought anybody with a chance of beating him

Boots -$5000 to lose vs Lima but according to you he signed

seems like ortizs team is not happy the wbc have not called for wbc champ fundora to fight the wbc interim champ ortiz

          from the wbc website

3.22 Interim Championship Rule. In special circumstances, including when the WBC in its sole
discretion declares a WBC champion temporarily unavailable to defend his title, the WBC
may sanction a bout between Qualified Challengers for an interim championship, or
otherwise recognize an interim champion in the division.
In its sole discretion, the WBC shall subsequently determine the timing and terms of any
bout between a Champion and Interim Champion to determine a sole champion in the
division, provided, however, that an Interim Champion shall never be deemed a mandatory
challenger, or entitled to greater share of proceeds of any purse offer beyond that of a
challenger, without a specific prior written order to that effect from the WBC President or
          his designee

fundora has always been ready to defend his full wbc belt so why have they named ortiz interim champ i wonder?

oscar is talking about car crash spence & charlo i think, i mean both of these guys are well off the pace and most likely damaged goods especially spence but i wonder will ortiz eat his words about wanting to fight the 'best' & go for one of these guys if they can organise the deal? if he does he can expect a LOT of flack, remember this ortiz bailed out of the russian belt holder ibf fight cried off after pretending he wanted the fight & then saying OH actually i dont like their weight rules actually since im a big fat guy who nearly killed myself trying to make myself the much bigger guy than my opponents at 147 & guess what im at it again at 154 lol

It's honestly sad that Ortiz and Boots are being treated like the best at 154. Boots beat a no hoper and he has never beaten an elite fighter or even a really good fighter. Karen took him 12 twice and Boots always gets hit and looks good but not great whenever he steps up from a B level guy.

Ortiz has a better resume but has never held a title and has flaws in his game as well.

I think Boots has the boxing ability to beat Ortiz, but he also leaves his chin out there and with Ortiz it only takes one good shot. It is an intriguing fight. But what I see happening is both Ortiz and Boots aiming for belts....Fundora and Zayas...and then if they both hold belts, they can fight. Winner fights Murt to unify.

Boots Ortiz is not a huge name recognition fight. Only hardcore boxing fans know Boots at all and they know he ducked Crawford and Ortiz at 147. Ortiz has the built in Latino fanbase so the deal is definitely weighted in his favor.

Oscar’s not ready to cash out Ortiz…especially since he’s not confident in Vergil’s chances against Murtazaliev…only Turkey can make the Boots vs Ortiz fight…Eddie and Oscar will both string us along…

Turki already made an offer which was accepted by Virgil and refused by , you guessed it , Boots

And you still haven’t answered my question , no money mentioned but I guess that f@cks up your agenda

Oscar gonna make sure Ortiz prices himself out, cause he's the only star in his stable.. and he will be worth less once Ennis beats him.
