Barrios must give amazing head where it matters - how else to explain that his mediocre and boring skillset has seen him land fights with Tank, Thurman, Pacquiao and now Garcia - unbelievable

Hopefully the Norman-Haney winner steps up and takes the division over because this is sad.
I agree. For me 154 is the new 147 and 140 is the new 135. Maybe people just getting bigger over decades?

Watch boxing's institutions line up to give some deranged American junkie another payday. This 'sport' is great, isn't it?

Glad to see Giyasov is pushing for his mandatory shot, though. If another spoiled American (Romero) thinks the fight's beneath him he can vacate the belt.

And on a PPV no less.

We fans need to stop paying for this bullsh—t. Don’t reward them with your money for serving up garbage while always letting the good fights “marinate.”

Mario Barrios should be able to run roughshod over Ryan Garcia now because he is a broken and ruined fighter. He lacks self confidence and no longer believes in himself. He’s done.

Never! He’s already a gatekeeper status. He no longer has fighting in him anymore and needs to retire.

I thought his performance against Rolly Romero was both shameful and disgraceful. He just simply refused to try.

He didn’t show up to win. He just showed up for a pay day.

He mentally laid down in that fight. He quit.

Barrios is a very average fighter so this is a WINNABLE fight for Garcia and chance to finally become a world champion.

147 is so dead! I can't remember the last time the Welterweight Division was so trash!

Disagree about Norman...the kid looks special but agree about the rest. Berto/Guerrero and the like would have a field day with Crocker, Donovan & Barrios whereas Rolly, Ryan & Haney would give them much tougher fights which they'd probably still win.
