Exactly, it was the Francis Ngannou "my first ever boxing match" knock down against the Gypsy Tart that definitely put Fury's chin in serious doubt. And with that, other folk who looked good against him. Not legacy stuff. My favourite big hitter wasn't even a heavyweight. Julian Jackson. You could outwit Julian, be faster and flashier, but if Julian tagged you, it wasn't just lights out, it was like someone had taken a sledgehammer to your fuse box. You'd remember your name the next week.

oh, I see they went into the recycling bin for their #1 pick. If he can't deliver a knockout blow to a reasonably skilled opponent anymore, I don't think he belongs on the list.

The sparring partner story is absolutely laughable firstly you can't even quantify power like that and secondly Wilder could be going all out in sparring whilst other people are actually using it for it intended purpose, improving and sharpening your tools... Which clearly Wilder never did.

Aslo people could easily argue against this stupíd argument by using Arreola speaking on the power of Wilder.

Who fought both Vitali and Wilder despite being knocked out by Wilder said Vitali hit harder and with every punch and unlike Towers he's fighting in 10oz gloves not in 16oz.

Potentially even 20oz depending on their hands and concern for their sparring partners.

It's just Wilder used to have speed and the ability to close distance on people relatively quick, despite his abysmal movement.

            Ridiculous logic.

David Haye said the same thing that he was an explosive puncher.

              Was he lying, too???

Despite serious limitations I think Makhmudov is up there.
I think he's a far bigger puncher than a lot of this list.

If this list is even defendable in being close to correct if not 100% accurate, I think we can conclude "power" does not translate into "winning" in this generation.
