I agree with you, thack (and pollywog too). But I can't see Usyk turning down Wardley. Where else is there a big money fight? I'm not talking about what hardcore boxing fans have on their wish list, but something sports fans will empty their pockets for? That's a serious question, hit me with names that will sell out a big arena.

Respect to Parker for taking on a dangerous opponent but he was poor during the fight and deserves some criticism for his performance.

Like the article says, there's a risk involved in staying active in a mandatory position instead of playing safe and waiting for your shot. But Parker turned a calculated risk into a reckless gamble by coming in 20lbs heavier than was against Wilder and Zhang and trying to beat a vicious, power punching brawler at his own game. At 240-some lbs, Joe could have done the same thing to Wardley that he did to Wilder, the same thing that Huni was doing to Fabio till his dodgy chin let him down - frustrate the raw puncher and pick him apart with skill, movement and experience.

At 262lbs, the footwork and movement Parker used so well against Wilder wasn't there, and lugging that extra weight around gassed him out as the rounds went by. Kudos to Joe for giving us such a fantastic, exciting fight and for accepting the controversial stoppage like an absolute gentleman. But he and his team need to ask themselves some serious questions about tactics and game plans going forward.

The same part that says, Usyk doesn't have to fight Wardley.

He can email Fabio a belt. Parker and Fabio can fight it out again as a legit title fight/defense with Usyk fighting the definitive winner.

It's not like he didn't kinda do that with Dubois.

Parker v Fabio 2 is as big a stadium money fight in the U.K now as Usyk v Fabio, now that he's the next great British hope.

And Uncle Frank gets to double dip all without ever needing the camel racer and his pet MMA shill to stump up the prize money.

I doubt im alone in wanting to see Parker v Wardley again than Usyk v Wardley or anyone else.

Let's be honest, Parker took the fight because he thought he was gonna win it, and it was easy money. And to think Huni did better than him... Shameful performance.

                  Bullshït!

Of course Parker thought he was gonna win, but no way did he think it was easy money. He knew one wrong move and it would be lights out.

Easy money is Whyte signing up to go nighty night vs Itauma in the first round and getting another payday vs Delboy for his troubles.

And no Huni didnt do better. Parker went an extra round and Justis actually hit the deck on pretty much the first decent flush shot. Parker never went down.

There was nothing shameful about Parkers performance. The shame lies with the ref and your lies.

I agree with Eric on this.

Parker could fight Dubois or Agit. Win and he should get the winner of Usyk v Wardley.

Id Usyk wins and retires, he should get a rematch for a title with Wardley.

"The same part that says, Usyk doesn't have to fight Wardley."

The same part that only exists in your feverish, fanboy brain?

Usyk had to give up his IBF belt to honour a rematch clause with Fury. There is nothing stopping him from defending his WBO against Wardley. And he isn't going to give it up just to make you happy.

And what if Wardley doesn't want to fight Parker again, instead of fighting Usyk for the undisputed world title?

"Parker v Fabio 2 is as big a stadium money fight in the U.K now as Usyk v Fabio, now that he's the next great British hope"

No it isn't, not even close.

A Parker vs Wardley rematch would be a big fight. But bigger than Usyk vs Wardley for all the belts? Again, not even close.
