    Wardley vs Parker was

stopped prematurely. Why did the ref step in? Why…!!!??? Parker was more tired than hurt, and has a super huge heart.

Wardley has a superb chin and skills beyond skills and went for the finish. I would’ve loved to see if Parker could’ve withstood that avalanche of punches and came back and gave his own. This is why big fights need great refs. This was a very good fight..!!!

This fight deserves a rematch. Wardley is on the scene now and will be a tough out for anyone. We have some young guns coming up. Look out Usyk lol…!!!

Wardley was reduced to pitty pats that weren't even getting through.

    Parker deserved to fight on...

      No it wasn't.

The fight would've ended in the 2nd if the ref didn't save Joseph.

If anything it lasted much longer than it should've.

But re. round 11, if Joseph has anything left, he would've thrown back. He was absolutely done.

Don't forget he was almost knocked out the previous round too.

That was 5 minutes of Joseph Parker having nothing left. The ref could see that.

We don't have to see Parker dead.

I didn’t see any of that **** you’re talking. If you’re too squeamish, go find another sport to watch. I call it like I see it. I’ve seen far worse punishment and seen fighters come back from the brink to finish guys. Bad stoppage…

Don't get me wrong, I would've loved to have seen Parker on the floor, unable to move... But what we got instead was him unable to throw a punch or hold himself up without the ropes.

How long is it OK for him to cover up on unsteady legs, unable to throw a single punch?

I don't want to see anyone get badly hurt. But Parker was intelligently defending himself The ref couldn't be sure Parker wasn't deliberately letting Wardle y tire himself out? I was half expecting Parker to launch himself back after weathering storm.
but I won't say premature stoppage as Parker has been stopped before to fight another day

It was stopped too early but that fight ruled pretty hard.

I thought it was too early. And I'm usually one to defend the refs - I don't want to see fighters knocked out or severely damaged. But I don't think Parker was unable to continue.

And being in that position against a fighter who should be leagues below him tells us enough regardless of the result or how it was reached.
