You can do whatever you want.

However logically speaking, you can't. Being saved by the bell the previous round, immediately rocked the following round and shipping 20+ punches while wobbling around and looking at the floor, you can't blame a ref for stopping a fight when fighters actively die.

Wardley was rocked the previous round too, as well as multiple other occasions. He barely landed a punch on the '20 + punches' his last left hook was so sloppy and lazy he looked on the verge of complete exhaustion.

He was buzzed a few times but not to the same extent Parker was whereby he was wobbling around the ring and looking at the floor and the bell saving him, then immediately hurt again at the start of the following round. I don't know what you expect a ref to do in that scenario. Most will stop it.

Same here. Wardley has been improving, he actually had some pretty good head movement in parts of the fight and made Parker miss especially when Parker had him on the ropes.

Yeah, I noticed some exceptional head movement that I had not seen before and boxed better than he did against Huni.

It's curious how boxing fans are more upset by the stoppage than Parker was himself.

It's bizarre why Parker would even take this high risk fight vs Wardley when he had the $10-20m plus payday vs Usyk in his pocket, and much more if he beat Usyk.

Makes you wonder if Parker will get a percentage of what Wardley will get for Usyk?

Parker was hugely upset after the ref stepped in. Who wouldn't be, if you still had your wits about you and he definitely still did.

But in the line of fire, Parker chose to stay on his feet and weather the storm, firing back as necessary while Wardley gassed himself going for the K.O. which the ref awarded him.

Who knows what would have happened if the ref had not stepped in but i'm pretty sure, Parker given the punishment he's taken through the years would not have been brain damaged if he'd gone down for the count in this fight alone.

He'd not been dropped during the whole fight and survived numerous buzzes and wobbles, just as Wardley had. It were no different than when Usyk had Fury on quëer st but the ref gave him a standing 8.

Fighting men, of which Parker is an epitome of, want to fight. They don't want to play politics and indulge in shenanigans to win, they dont take knees and they don't quit in the face of adversity.

He was never about fighting Usyk for the money. He's flush as for several lifetimes in kiwi and samoan dollars. He was fighting for legacy and to challenge himself against the best or whomever wanted to challenge him.

Wardley took that on and won on the day, albeit with the refs help, but Parker should always have known that would be the case fighting Brits in Britain. Its not his first rodeo.

He took the risk, accepted the consequences and no amount of second guessing will change the result. Moving right along is all he or anyone can do...He has. As a fan, i have. It's all good!

Wardley deserves the credit and the kudos. It was a great great fight. I was mightily entertained. Well played, Team Parker, Wardley and Queensberry. The ref ?...meh not so much, but whatevs!

Actually no. I didn't like the Ward Gatti fights where they just beat up on each other. Prefer to see more tactics and defense and thinking instead of pure brawling.

You're trying to say that Howard Foster pulling a Howard Foster special, saved Parkers life. When barely a clean shot landed and Wardley was missing wildly. sorry that's laughable.
