It would be a huge upset if Wardley beat Parker

Wardley really only has a puncher`s chance, He is very basic, blocking punches with his head all the time. Yeah, Joyce was able to walk Parker down with this style, in 11th round, I just don`t think Wardley can do the same. Unlike wardley, Joyce was elite amateur.

Seemed like it was something wrong with Parker in that Joyce fight or he just had a night off, I believe Parker will win about 10-2 in rounds, maybe even more, the lack of Wardley`s experience will prevail.

You've already led into your post with the most obvious way that Wardley can win, but there are other avenues to a potentially razor thin decision win, if the fight plays out similar to how Parker/Zhang did; granted, Parker won that one, narrowly, in a MD, BUT he did have to pick himself up off the canvas twice en route to a close victory. Wardley is younger and faster than Zhang, so I could see a scenario where Parker outboxes a majority of the rounds, but also has a couple of 10-8's sprinkled in from the result of a couple of knockdowns, and Wardley gets the nod. It wasn't heavyweights, but look at how the rematch of Lewis Crocker and Paddy Donovan played out. I think most fans would agree, Paddy should have won that fight, and he outboxed and won more rounds, but those knockdowns and aggression from Crocker, were enough to sway the judges. Just food for thought.

Sometimes people think predicting boxing results is like a mathematical equation. Similar to Flip hit DDD all night long, and Josh hits harder than Flip, so by that equation theres no way DDD was going to beat Josh?
Parker is favourite, but its a exciting fight as people know anything could happen. Parker can outbox Wardley easy, but most understand Wardley hits hard enough, and Parker has shown he can get hurt and go down. THats a 10-8 round to Fabio. Sure Parker can deck Fabio too. Its interesting as we want to see if Fabio can improve from last fight, or if just a bad night.? Well, Parker can have a bad night too, hes had a run of good nights.

Wardley's last few fights have been about correcting wrongs and he's done so in emphatic fashion. Draws with Clarke, blasts him out in the first round during the rematch. Gets thoroughly pieced up and embarrassed by Huni all throughout their fight, times a 1-2 from Huni just right at nearly the last second and floors him. He may be basic, but he finds a way. And with Parker having a lot of mileage, I'd say he has maybe a bit more than a puncher's chance. If he can take Parker's best, he may be able to replicate what he did to Huni. I also suspect that while Parker has definitely been on a hot streak lately, his big(ger) wins come with some serious asterisks: Wilder was shot to pieces, Zhang is old and slow (and still dropped him twice), Bakole had just left the Chinese buffet, etc.

It's a very intriguing fight, and after a few dud weekends, I'm really looking forward to this.

People are conveniently forgetting what Parker did in his last fight to Bakole, in 2 rounds no less.

You can say Bakole was whatever he was coming into that fight, but it probably wouldn't have made a difference. He camein drunk on his own kool-aid, looking to knock Parker out and got splattered instead. I would hazard he punches as hard as Wardley who, if he is looking to follow the same blueprint, will end up with the same result.

Kronk Parker ain't no joke. Coming up he was doing the same as Wardley until he got to the next level of fighter and the knockouts stopped. Fortunately he had boxing in his DNA to fall back on. Wardley does not. He is not going to outbox Parker. He will not win on points.

The punchers chance he has, is the very same chance Parker has. And if it comes down to who has the better set of whiskers. My money is on the proven recuperative powers of Parker also. He's taken shots from better punchers than Wardley has.

All this points to one thing. The Mighty Oilskin isn't turning up to fück spiders or play pitty pat for a decision. He's going for broke.

Fabio is going nighty night...BOOK IT !!!

Parker has said a couple of times that he will try to win early... He may be believing his own hype now because he NEVER knocks anyone out and is basically just a potshotter.

When someone engages with him, which Wardley will happily do, he gets knocked down or out. He doesn't have the power or instinct to fight.

If he potshots he outboxes Fabio easily, Fabio doesn't have the basic fundamentals to win a 'boxing match'.

But if for even a moment he considers engaging, I'd pick Fabio all day to knock him out easily. More power. More speed. More explosiveness.

Joseph Parker is a potshotter, who's recent wins are heavily overrated.
He would do well to remember that.

Bakole hadn't even trained you absolute bellend lol.

You only like Parker because of where he was born. There is zero% chance you would rate that win even slightly decent if he was born elsewhere.

Kronk Parker got DESTROYED by Joe Joyce and manhandled by Chisora lol

Everyone with a brain cell knows Average Joe’ Parker isn’t very good.

Thing here is neither is Wardley.

Wardley got the punch, Parker the better skills (says more about how poor Wardley is)

So you’d think Parker takes it. But then again we also know Samoans can’t really fight, and that Parker got absolutely battered and stopped by Joe Joyce, so, you never know.
