Makhmudov is not world level. Either quit or be satisfied as another Kevin Johnson. He can still earn a decent living if he chooses that route.

Mak does deserve the AJ fight, and he'll be a good warm-up for the AJ-Fury cash bonanza in late 2026.

Allen deserves credit for making it to the final bell. Would love to see him fight for the Lonsdale belt next. It would be a sell-out, even though it's well below World/Euro level.

He's just beaten up a beloved British fighter. People will pay at the box office to watch him beaten.

Unless Fury is going to sign, the Mak fight now makes so much sense for Joshua. It will be a decent event and I don't see how he can lose to him. Perfect set up.

It doesn't matter, he didn't need to be in there 12 rounds against Allen.

His last couple fights told me he would.... I remember when I was all in at his debut ... Just crushing weak opposition and everybody thought (or at least hoped) he would show signs of skills going up.. Never happened...

Makhmudov gets beaten up by any decent heavyweight. If he can get this Joshua fight, he should take it.

Or maybe he did. Perhaps hes learnt something from underestimating opponents. He had a gameplan and except for one small burst put on a clinic. Choosing to box after finding out that just trying to **** people out doesnt always work is a significant improvement. He expected a body barrage from Allen and he diffused it. Then Allen had no plan B. All attempting to bodybag Allen would achieve is to bring himself into range by shortening distance and lowering his head.
