He defended the middleweight belt 22 times.

Show me anybody who's defended any major belt 22 times who's not in the HOF

      I can't put Forrest in, I'm sorry.

I know he had 2 great nights against Mosley, but it coincided with Mosley's slide, so maybe something else happened.

We know Shane ended up getting exposed for PED usage, maybe that had something to do with it.

There's probably worse people in, though.

Yeah... I agree. I feel guilty about because of the way the man was ripped away from us, but the resume is just not Hall of Fame worthy. But my gut instinct is that he will get in. It will be a great story if he does.

Held the wba title for 8 years, 22 title defences, 23 fight KO streak, highest KO ratio in middleweight championship history and two time unified 160lbs champion. In his biggest fight he realistically beat a prime Canelo twice and at times has not looked human inside the ring - in 45 fights I can only recall him being briefly hurt once to the body by Derevyenchenko

Always reminded me of Hearns and Barkley, sometimes some guy just has your number.

I think the fact it’s a posthumous HOF nomination will help his case. I wouldn’t be opposed to Forrest going in tbf. Very good fighter who still had a good fee fights in him when he was tragically murdered.
And we will never know how many of Mosley's wins came with PEDs yet he still got in HOF.

Tarver another PED cheat up for nomination?
