Im gonna wait to see him fight somebody before I annoint him. He's fought nobody. I think Wardley is the best British Heavy even though he lost every round to Huni. Huni would box up Ituma too and he'd also need a KO to win. British HW scene isnt that good. He'd beat Dubois who falls apart under any adversity. Okolie would be a decent scrap. Fury and Joshua don't have much left but would give him problems. Riakapore? Ituma would crush Fisher and Frazier I'll give him that. Chisora shouldve retired 5 or 6 years ago and that's it. I get he's skilled but let's leave out Usyks name. I'd really like to see him get past a guy like Ajagba. As far as Sanchez goes, sure Moses wins cause Sanchez sucks.
The very best reasonable at his level fight for him right now is Torres.

Itauma is what the sport has been waiting for since Tyson went to Bolivian.

But as Warren let slip, the other option is to just wait for the old man to retire, then go after the fragmented belts. The kid's young, he can wait a year, as long as he stays busy.
          Totally agree

Ignore what they say. Watch what they do. Young man needs rounds and more experience. Whyte was barely a top HW even when juiced like mid 70s Schwarzenegger. Itauma people know this and despite big talk will take the wise step by step path and milk Turki

The sport has had it with fraudulent British hype jobs looking for a quick route to a strap they can hold to ransom.

At the mo, thats who he is.

I agree, but thats how things go unfortunately. The UK is a big money market and the two biggest money makers in it are on their way out. They need Itauma to work out to keep the gravy train rolling.

I am starting to feel that Usyk will not be fighting until next year sometime, so it will be a scrub-like opponent to keep Itauma's record clean.

Itauma - Pulev for the WBA belt late next year is a very real possibility. Pulev will presumably be upgraded to the full and only belt holder after Usyk retires. Nice payday for Pulev who's sat around doing nothing since winning the trinket from Charr almost a year ago...
