Joe Calzaghe's wins over Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Junior 'are also solid wins

I think Bernard Hopkins was the better fighter 'and he did land the more damaging and powerful punches throughout the entire fight'.

But in a Championship fight, you have to sometimes give the win to the fighter 'who is applying more pressure, and forcing the opponent to look for ways to rest and fiddle his way through the fight at times. That is what Joe Calzaghe did to Bernard Hopkins'.

Eubank wasn't good when calzaghe fought him. I see a lot of people mentioning this as a top level win...Why? Its like saying crawford beating brook is a good win or something. Eubank didnt have a notable win for years and years when he fought calzaghe, was coming off 2 losses to Collins, a recent robbery over dan schommer, was unranked, and never won another fight in his career. It was the definition of "just a name" win

Roy Jones was not a solid win. Same basic reason as above.

Sometimes you have to throw the rules out the window and give the fight to the guy not landing the better punches lol.
