He’s not even the greatest boxer from Wales. That would be Jimmy Wilde, the mighty atom.

Calzaghe/Hatton days were the greatest... The buzz of their fights were so good.

He’s not even the greatest Welsh fighter of all time. Google Jimmy Wilde.

          *Hatton days.

Other than Lacy and maybe B-Hop I don’t remember any Calzaghe fight that was a big deal. I mean even the B-Hop fight got rejected by Sky and ended up on Setanta sports.

Hatton, Lewis, Eubank, Benn and even Froch created far more buzz than Joe.

100%. I can’t believe the ignorance of this article. Some of these “journalists” really know very little about the history of the sport.

Well I went to as many of them as I could, so I deffo remember them. Absolute legend.

The Lacy beatdown was probably the greatest beat down I've seen live. It was majestic and special.

That protracted WBO reign didn't do it for me. Obviously an extremely talented fighter though.

Did you actually read it? It was written by former Boxing News editor Matt Christie, who is almost certainly more knowledgeable than you, and he was simply reporting on an event.
