canelo fans worse i would say

canelo is still a hard guy to beat yes u do have to be of a very good standard to do it, bud gets extra brownie points for coming up in weight and doing it as well i would say

Saying that looking at canelo and his opponents over the last many years i would say it was quite likely he was going to lose to the first very good guy he faced, he should have lost his titles to benny for example but was allowed to shamefully duck him for years by the wbc so it was perfect timing from bud to do what he did & he was good enough to get the job done, clearing out 154 tho would have told us more about things than the 1 fight v risk averse canelo now i would think, 154 is now full of young prime guys with different styles, coming out on top of that now would be impressive i think

        legendary resume misleading record

Would Saul still be all time great if change Saul record to have 2 more losses and a draw from these guys Austin Erislandy golovkin

Saul was handpicked for stardom and had the best scorecard protection services I ever seen

everyone who beat Saul wide would end up with a draw card or multiple 115-113

the powers that be wanted a return on their investment Saul

Spencerina was never that good. Thurman beat his best wins (porter, garcia) years earlier and in better fashion. His claim to fame was going to decision against an overrated fat mickey garcia who retired to duck LOMA

Now the carnela win was really good. He moved up and beat a guy who was campaigned at 168 for years. A guy everyone calls an atg but really was just very good and gifted wins.

To sum it up me personally, I underrated my boy Crawford and overrated carnela and then I was surprised when Crawford not only won but whooped carnela. Hopefully they both retire.

Nelo said bud is better than floyd. With a win over Nelo at 168, that's certainly a bigger risk than floyd ever took.
So better than floyd by the time bud retires. Unlikely to be greater than pac though as pac campaigned in his 7th weight class for 10 years. When pac best cotto, bud is probably at that stage of pac s accomplishments. Bud needs to campaign at 168 for 5 years beating all comers to be where pac is

I must ask my self, why doesn`t Bud have about 10+ wins at 160-168, he is obviuosly big enough.

Is it because he prefers fighting smaller guys?

Bring back the same day weight inn and reduce number of divisions, we don`t need half of them.

Agreed! Also, when Floyd defeated Canelo. He had a catchweight and both a rematch and rehydration clause. Bud didn’t have any of that.

With that being said; I still believe Crawford was a better fighter than both Mayweather and Pacquiao. Even though history won’t record it.

Pac had his chance against Crawford as early as 2017 but decided to duck him in order to fight Jeff Horn. A man who Crawford KO instead but lost.

Canelo’s loss to Terence Crawford must have really hurt the Canelo’s fanboys; Which Includes this topic starter, Abel Sanchez and Eddie Hearn.

He hurt them so bad that now they want to see him retire. Since he exposed their hero as an overrated cherrypicking fraud.

yes but we dont know as far as i know anyway what bud for example weighted fight night from 147, he may have been about 160 which would be around normal for guys at that weight or he may have been a +25 pound guy and put on more, him going up in weight and beating canelo may be more a reflection of his ability but as for weights we just dont know these things like we used to, which is a real shame
