TBud’s rear end and frontal genitalia must be extremely sensitive with all you grown men slurping him from both sides. But I think you need to calm down and give him a rest — he’s probably numb by now.
You guys are hyping his win against Viktor Postol as if it’s greater than knocking out a prime George Foreman, which is laughable in itself. But let’s get to the real wins you’ve been slobbering over him for.
Errol Spence, whose prime was left on the dashboards of two cars he totaled, was a shell of himself. Was he ever really that great to begin with?
I guess since Errol wasn’t nearly rolled over by Gamboa — a 5’4” fighter moving up two weight divisions — some people on here thought it would be a real 50/50 fight. But I looked back, and it was easy money for me. Still, that win is nowhere near as big as you all make it out to be.
Then we move on to the Canelo fight.
Canelo vs. Bud was a very competitive matchup between two guys of the same weight — except one was simply a weight bully. Crawford had been walking around for years at the same weight Canelo fights at. I scored it 8–4 for Bud. I gave two rounds as dominant to him, and the rest were close.
But let’s put that in context:
* Mayweather dominated Canelo with a 12-round shutout.
* Bivol dominated Canelo 10–2.
* Lara beat Canelo 7–5 if you have working eyes.
* GGG clearly won the first fight.
* The second fight I could maybe call a draw if I’m being generous, but I still believe GGG won.
Canelo was even made to look clueless at times against William Scull, since he couldn’t cut off the ring. And before that, he went life and death with John Ryder.
So no, Bud is not the GOAT, and he’s nowhere near Mayweather or Pacquiao’s status to any real hardcore boxing fan without racial bias.
