Is Crawford right about Manny Pacquiao being overrated?

anybody's resume can be ripped to shreds if thats what you wanna do. manny didn't "refuse blood testing demands", he refused
what floyd was ordering him to do. floyd is not boxing, who tf is he to dictate to anybody.
and after floyd's supposed crusade against cheating, remember hes the only one who got caught with an illegal IV in his arm.
also floyd always refused VADA, he would only work with shady USADA who was in his pockets.
floyd is a shady mofo, who knows what else he was doing if he could pay off USADA to let him get that IV.

Helps to have watched boxing. You should try it some day so you could learn something about boxing...👎 1Comment

Sounds like bitterness because he never got that fight after re-signing with Arum, and never made the money Manny made. Manny's resume and legacy speaks for itself. He challenged himself across 8 weight classes, while being the smaller fighter in most of his biggest fights. I like Crawford, followed him since he was a lightweight and saw greatness in his skills. But the truth is, his resume isn't nearly as impressive as Manny's.Comment

QueensberryRules, Bud was ready, willing and able to fight Pac as early as 2016. This was about 5 years prior to his proposed bout with Errol Spence in 2021. This was around the time of Crawford’s fight with Viktor Postol.
However, Pac refused to fight him and chose to fight and lose to Jeff Horn instead. The same guy Bud knocked out. This is fact, proof, truth and history. If you don’t believe me then look it up!
However, you won’t do that because the truth hurts.Last edited by champion4ever; 09-16-2025, 11:36 AM.👍 1Comment

I said that was partly due to his own undoing and his management team by keep extending his contract with Toprank long after knowing that he wasn't ever going to get the Pac fight and that their roster of welterweights were very sparse.
In other words Arum sold Bud a bill of goods. A pot of fool's gold shall we say just to keep him from signing with Al Haymon and the PBC.
Both Bob Arum and Freddie Roach even boasted how they were never going to allow Pac to fight in the same ring with Terence Crawford.
Toprank's constant resigning of Bud Crawford was not designed to help him but to hurt the PBC. They couldn't have given two shits about Bud's career.
