People asked the same question before the fight with Canelo. I was reading the articles in the last few days where Bomac was saying that Crawford was not going to be the small man against Canelo - that is is the bigger man and that he can go to light heavy next. Of course nobody believed it. My guess is that is what they are planning to do - Bivol next. I will never bet against Bud Crawford, no matter who is in the other corner.

Crawford is not dumb, he won't fight Bivol or any top 168's. He will move down or maybe fight Eubank jnr. I expected Canelo to fight eubank if he won but turki might give him to Bud.

Crawford wasn't just pitty pattering he stung Canelo a number of times, and hurt him in the last seconds of the fight. Its the fast shots you don't see that really hurt.

Crawford is unquestionably the best fighter in the world.. Not Usyk. Not Inoue. Crawford.

Bud just made it look easy.
What a class act in victory, as was Alvarez in defeat.
I'm glad I was able to see it live.

Maybe, but at what point will it be a bite too big to chew? Bud handled the 'bigger' Canelo with surprising ease, we all saw that.
At a certain point Bud just won't be able to do it against the truly bigger guys. It would be fun to see what happens if he goes against Bivol, but I don't need to see it.
Honestly, I would prefer to see Bud just retire undefeated, a consensus ATG, with no blemish on his record.
A perfect career, mint condition, in the box with all the papers, like a Rolex.

Great fight. I thought Bud would stop him, but I’m just glad he won and that both guys are great sportsman.

How anyone can find more than three rounds to give Canelo is far and beyond me? I thought he looked both old and slow in there against Terence Bud Crawford.

In boxing years Canelo appeared at least fifteen years older than Crawford. His body has badly aged and declined.

Even though Bud is three years older he appeared the much younger and fresher of the two fighters.
