Yeah why not? Bivol couldn't hurt Canelo just like Crawford couldn't. They're the same size and Bivol and Crawford are both boxers not ****ers.
Crawford against Bivol?, damn bro the guy just got the belts at 168 pump those brakes a little lol. Besides Bivol has both Beterviev and Benavidez on the radar but in all honestly, do you really give Bud a shot against a full fledged undisputed 175 pounder like Bivol? I dont know about that one.

No one wants to see the Beterbiev trilogy and it looks like Bivol don't want that either. Benevidez..... let's see how it goes with Yarde firstComment

Fck the fans, Canelo can fight Benevidez now...you will get your lover of effective aggression fight since Canelo has nothin' to lose anymore!Good for you Crawford. You climbed a serious mountain. He boxed in an absolute master class, but he threw no thunder in any point in the fight. Pitter patter doesn't do it for the fans. I am not a Canelo lover, but I am a lover in terms of effective aggression. This just was not very effective other than how it pertain to the scorecard. he did a great job at not crumbling under the hard shots. Canelo simply did not throw enough punches. His team should have warned him after round five or six.Comment

First of all, congratulations to Terence. What a performance, I picked him to win but never thought he'd win so dominantly. Five weight world champion, up there with Tommy Hearns who I think he shares a lot of attributes with.

I lost my bet as I bet on the draw, thinking that Bud would outbox Canelo but get robbed on the cards. I didn't watch it live as I'm in the UK and it was gonna be at least 5am here by the time the ring walks took place and I'm too old to prioritise anything over a good nights sleep these days. So I already knew the result before I watched the fight. I think the cards overly favoured Canelo even in handing him a loss. I scored it 116-113 or 117-111 as I scored round 2 10-10 or 10-9 to Bud by a whisker.

I gave Canelo Rounds 1, 4, 5 & 8. However, I think I was compensating for leaning towards Bud but wanting to be entirely objective. A couple of the rounds I gave to Canelo were definitely swing rounds & I think had the result had gone the other way I would have been arguing for Bud, but I guess that's the luxury of knowing the result before I watched the fight. I wish I'd watched it live now.

Great fight. I've read some comments complaining that Crawford was pitty-patting and it's not entertaining enough. Listen, if you want to know who hits harder then maybe you're more a fan of arcade punchball machines than boxing. Try watching from the perspective of the fighter and appreciating what he does to negate his opponents offence and control the fight rather than criticise him for slipping punches. The sweet science is as much about not getting hit as hitting the other guy (or girl.)

This is a sport. Standing in front of your opponent taking punishment you don't need to out of some macho bravado might be entertaining but it's also a clown show one that is likely to lead to you slurring unintelligibly and struggling to remember the names of your kids & grandkids when your career is over. That's a big price to pay for your 15 minutes of fame.👍 4Comment

People asked the same question before the fight with Canelo. I was reading the articles in the last few days where Bomac was saying that Crawford was not going to be the small man against Canelo - that is is the bigger man and that he can go to light heavy next. Of course nobody believed it. My guess is that is what they are planning to do - Bivol next. I will never bet against Bud Crawford, no matter who is in the other corner.

Crawford is not dumb, he won't fight Bivol or any top 168's. He will move down or maybe fight Eubank jnr. I expected Canelo to fight eubank if he won but turki might give him to Bud.

Crawford wasn't just pitty pattering he stung Canelo a number of times, and hurt him in the last seconds of the fight. Its the fast shots you don't see that really hurt.Comment
