That would be a signing off fight for Bud but at this point I'm not sure that Lara deserves the check - he's not even fought Adames - or Bud can get back down to 160

he wanted to but was told by his corner to maintain discipline and avoid a lucky punch... bud said he wanted to do more. I actually feared for canelo many times in the fight I thought he was going down.

This just was not very effective other than how it pertain to the scorecard. he did a great job at not crumbling under the hard shots. Canelo simply did not throw enough punches. His team should have warned him after round five or six.
the problem was Canelo tried everything and it just wasn't working... Crawford was obviously hurting nelo than vice versa, I thought he was going to go down in one of them rounds... I've never seen Canelo's knees bucked like it did.

I thought he was really hurting canelo... his knees were buckling, I didn't even want canelo to engage in the final seconds as he might go down

Ped, draw vs lara lost and draw vs GGG and then waited until he aged out for the trilogy, dodged all davids @ 168, waited til kovolov lost a step, dodged benavidez only to be schooled by his cherry pick bivol, canelo cherry picked bivol and bud and lost both this wasnt close so the judges couldn't do the usual

Easy work. Canelo casuals exposed. Forget the Benavidez talk.

Interesting. Canelo seemed ready to quit, and I felt like Bud senses that and attacked him in the 11th. I really thought the 11th was gonna be a stoppage either by Canelo’s corner or by the referee if Bud had turned up the pressure. Never seen Canelo behave like that before. Dude was even employing dirty tactics.

Crawford was more disciplined, more tactful, and more aggressive throughout this fight.

Much respect to him for going up to meet another champion in his weight class and beating him like that. Canelo, I thought, was confused about how to handle Crawford and less aggressive in the fight. Being the natural middleweight and slightly younger, I would have expected Canelo to want this to be more physical (as in more and heavier punches) and less tactical, but either he was scared or was not allowed to do so. By the time he tried in the later rounds, he was mentally defeated and got hit more than he hit Crawford. Crawford dictated the style and pace of this fight, and that is a disadvantage for Canelo in my opinion.

Overall, the better boxer won tonight. Respect to Crawford for what he achieved today.
