this isnt gamboas power we are talking about...
So why couldn't he finish them then? He dropped them yes and yet he couldn't put either one of them away why?.Bud is more of a finisher; Which means he hits a lot harder and has more punching power than Canelo.

This is also why his fights ends a lot sooner and Canelo's end a lot longer because he doesn't punches as hard as Crawford does. In recent years he has become more of a 12 round fighter.

However, Saul Canelo Alvarez is more of an accurate counterpuncher of the two fighters, who throws more punches per fight and has a slightly better defense than Crawford.

This fight is as close to a 50/50 fight if I had never seen one.
The reason Canelo throws more punches per fight is that his fights go 12 rounds where Bud's only go 8.

My biggest question is how aggressive Bud is early in the fight. If he comes out swinging respect to him but that would be a big risk with his first fight at this weight.

And second is what Bud does if he feels or he is told he is down on the cards after the middle rounds. Does he go for it or does he go into survival mode to get to the last bell and not get knocked out.

Looking forward to it. I will be there live.

Canelo couldn't put John Ryder or Charlo to sleep so I really doubt this - wishful thinking.

only remaining TBud big fight would be a rematch with Saul
So Canelo has the leverage to squeeze Bud to play soft. I believe they have a deal already, like Canelo forced Golovkin to do. Canelo by decision bc Bud plays soft for the jackpot he can't get anywhere else. Sad to say this but this is how boxing works, the money fighter uses his leverage. Leonard did it to Hagler. Floyd did it to almost everyone. Canelo does it.

so Saul carries TBud instead of knocking him out to sell the rematch?

Seems like there is too much history on the line for Crawford to come out and just do enough. Doesn't seem like his mentality.

And, even though Canelo didn't expect this fight, losing to the smaller guy in this scenario is bad news for him.

Canelo coming off a very bad performance relative to himself, he's got to get up for this one.

I'm starting to think this will be a war because so much is on the line for Crawford. Canelo can't have any hubris or expect house fighter treatment, he might need to get the KO.
That could be true as well. Hoping for a war or near war.
