Canelo is the money generator for many business people and he is expected to generate millions for 3-4 more years. Bud is 38-38 and can't make money on his own bc there is no big fights for him other than Canelo. So from a business perspective it looks like it would be very smart business for Canelo to rig the fight and also for Bud to accept the order to play soft and take the decision L for $30-40 million. These are the only numbers that matter. Canelo is still the longer term money maker, Bud is at the very end with no leverage or value.

There is no one else Bud can fight that can generate even close to Canelo level money.

Your opinion is yours however you want to have it, but what these stats show is both fighters have many years of wear & tear and although Canelo is younger, but has been going longer by 2 plus years and fights have been going longer in distance; however he does have a weight and power advantage and I would say the best of best in chins in the game today! Slight edge to Canelo very slight I mite say!

I'm thrilled about this fight but I have one problem with it. This could be the type of fight where both at their high levels decide "hey, we arent going to war here, we are past all that putting ourselves at harm by going all out" as they live in silk pajamas now. I could see them just doing enough to try to outpoint the other guy. In other words, this could be a decent chess game with some violence and nothing more. I hope I'm wrong. I'd pay to be wrong if I had my way.

                  I hope not -

Seems like there is too much history on the line for Crawford to come out and just do enough. Doesn't seem like his mentality.

And, even though Canelo didn't expect this fight, losing to the smaller guy in this scenario is bad news for him.

Canelo coming off a very bad performance relative to himself, he's got to get up for this one.

I'm starting to think this will be a war because so much is on the line for Crawford. Canelo can't have any hubris or expect house fighter treatment, he might need to get the KO.
