Huni & Clarke… I like Wardley but I think he is going to get flattened by Parker. Parker has been in outstanding shape since losing to Joyce. That was the turning point. He was soft & weighed a career high. He thought he was going to blast him out. Not sure how some say Joyce destroyed him. I saw a gassed Parker who smashed Joyce with more clean power shots than he’d taken since the Dubois fight. Parker may has gassed & got stopped but he is the one who cracked the juggernaut’s jaw & Zhang finished him. Parker got in better shape after & ended Wilder & Zhang.Comment

I think that's the Brit hype kicking in. Usyk exposed them as one dimensional (Chisora), limited (Bellew) fragile (Joshua), flawed (Fury) and fraudulent (Dubois).
Parker is none of the above. He'll be the best conditioned, most multifaceted warrior Usyk has ever faced. Usyk didnt want a bar of him when he knew Dubois would lose so took the easy way to undisputed again and is now quacking away cringedancing while 'injured'.
If Parker doesn't come into the Wardley fight out of sorts for whatever reason, he should make short work of him and then Usyk has nowhere to run or hide.
All roads lead to Oilskinville. They always have!!!Comment

I think Parker wins of late are good but a little overated. But he has improved so I think he should winComment

Yeah they went hard and threw shots, but then it seemed like Ortiz got the wink or whatever, dropped his guard, exposed his chin and practically invited Wilder to tee off...
It's not like he was the only guy to let Wilder drop him.Comment

I saw an interview between the two fighters on talk sport 'completely, bland and uninspiring dynamic between the two fighters. At this stage in the fight preparations'.
I understand that there seems to be a demographic of folk in society, and within the boxing community these days that pine over 'pally and matey matey behaviour between sports competitors. I am not one of those individuals'.
The only respect fighters need to show each other 'is that they prepare for fights and compete while adhering to the rules of the game'.
Note: Boxing is theatre; it is a combination of violence and show business 'Boxing is a very dangerous sport'.
Like I have stated in many of my previous recent posts, Joseph Parker in all honesty? Has been a non-factor at top level since he lost to Anthony Joshua in 2018. And even when Parker was a WBO Champion, he won a vacant title against Andy Ruiz Junior in a very close and competitive fight. And defended his title arguable against domestic and European level fighters twice, that is it'.
People attempt to mock Anthony Joshua for losing against Andy Ruiz Junior I 'but Joshua avenged that loss, a feat that Parker has never achieved in his entire career. And the rematch was not a competitive fight; Joshua won almost all of the rounds. It was pretty much a 12 - 0 win for Anthony Joshua'.
Originally when this fight was announced, I did say that stylistically 'Parker vs Wardley was straight up Joseph Parker's street. As Parker is a by far more proven and better boxer at a higher level in the sport than Fabio Wardley'.
But? There is a aspect of boxing which I like to refer to as 'Clutch game'. And I think Joseph Parker's Clutch game has been not so great throughout his career. Parker lost vs Joshua, lost vs Whyte, and he lost vs Joyce. His entire career trajectory and perception that people in the game have of him could have altered dramatically if he won at least one of those fights'.
I don't really think Joseph Parker's fights vs Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang or Martin Bakole 'were really testing his Clutch game. Joseph Parker was the underdog in all of those fights, and nobody was expecting him to win. Although I was one of the very few people who backed him to best Deontay Wilder'.
Martin Bakole most likely did not train much for his fight vs Parker 'and people were still giving backing Bakole to win'.
I still make Joseph Parker the favourite to win this fight vs Fabio Wardley 'and peak vs peak, I think Parker is a better fighter than Wardley. But when Joseph Parker attends the big dance, can he really exact all of his game? When he is the strong favourite to win, can he really execute a winning performance'.
We have very rarely seen Joseph Parker produce such a performance like this in his career 'maybe only once against Derek Chisora II, in their rematch'.
So today, I am giving Fabio Wardley a more stronger chance of winning the fight. I was only really giving him a punchers chance originally 'but thus far in his professional career, all Wardley has done is win'
Let's compare both fighters, and how they have developed throughout their careers 'If Joseph Parker was being out boxed, and systematically beaten up like the way Wardley was vs Justis Huni. Would Joseph Parker be able to turn the fight around in a instant, would he even try? There is no evidence that Parker would be able to win, in that sort of fight'.
We all understand that Joseph Parker has got game, he has solid boxing skills 'Joseph Parker is not a front runner, but? He does have certain traits, where he ether does not go into his top gears or he holds back his game. And usually his opponents push him into this fighting state'.
When we analyse Joseph Parker's wins vs Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang and Martin Bakole 'skill for skill, ask yourselves the honest question? Were those fights great performances? Or did Joseph Parker just so happen to be the better man on the night, and get the win'.
Skill for skill, from a purely technical perspective 'I don't think any of those fights were great performances. Because I don't think Wilder, Zhang or Bakole were operating at a very high level vs Parker'.
And this is how I think people get carried away with certain fighters 'because they get too high on the win, and don't analyse the actual action of the fights'.
To conclude: Joseph Parker's best performance in his career 'is still his effort vs Joe Joyce in my opinion. Because on that night Joseph Parker was competing against an absolute peak version of Joe Joyce, there were many people at the time who? Were giving Joyce a chance of being able to push Tyson Fury'.
And this was Fury at the peak of his perception, you know? When his cronies believed that hypothetically head to head he was the greatest fighter of all-times 'It was Joseph Parker who inflicted chronic damage on Joe Joyce, in the immediate aftermath of the fight I suspected that Joyce was more damaged that many in the media were acknowledging. Parker in that fight went through the gears, I still regard it as his overall best performance in his career'.
I would be content if Joseph Parker won, and I think he should win vs Fabio Wardley potentially even with ease 'but if Fabio Wardley can influence the action of the fight, and force Parker into places where he has to chase the fight. Then maybe this fight won't be so straight forward for Joseph Parker' etc.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; Today, 09:12 AM.Comment
