I was never sold on Parker. And beating past due date Wilder, an exhausted Zhang or an overweight/unprepared Bakole hasn't done anything to convince he's the real deal. This said, should he get a chance to fight Usyk? Why not. But we all know what will happen..

Yep...he'll give Usyk the hardest night at the office and it'll go to a split decision forcing a rematch.

Who from this era were you sold on ?

And were you sold on the hype they generated, the opponents they faced, the ones they ducked, the rematches they prolonged, the marinades that went off ?

Why does Parker have to fight 4 punchers back to back before getting a title shot?

Because there was a line of Brit frauds who were too chickenshït to and especially without rematch clauses.

The Mighty Oilskin shattered their and Bakole's boogeyman auras and relegated them to the phantom zone.

The thing is, can anyone expose Parker ? Plenty have tried few have succeeded, just one actually Prime Juggernaut vs an out of form Oilskin.

The other 2 losses to Brit fighters have huge asterisks beside them with both fighters ducking a rematch. And if those rematches took place, Parker would ether them too!
This is the truth, if Usyk had beaten both of those at that point in their careers, it would’ve added so much to an already insane resume. He would’ve received his flowers and rightly so. But because it was Parker that beat 3 of the heaviest hitters in the division, they must be shot or overrated.

When Andy Lee started working with Parker he realised Joe lacked so many fundamentals that he was surprised he had been a world champ. Lee has reinvented Parker imo, and he’s a lot better and smarter than he used to be (despite the wear and tear).
