What do you think is the reason why Tank Davis didn't want the Shakur fight?

Basically yeah...why would a guy with a bazooka for a left hand be afraid of Haney, Teofimo or an ageing Lomachenko? The ONLY Top Rank fighter who would give him serious problems is Shakur because of his 'Tom and Jerry' style whereas Haney & Teofimo have no problems trading.

so haney left top rank, u dont think he would have taken a tank fight then or even as a top ranker? do u want me to search the internet to see if haney was interested in a tank fight? i think i know what i will find, should i do the same search with tank as well?

Therefore, the fights were difficult to make. Just like Crawford was struggling to land a meaningful Welterweight fight under Top Rank and had to 'cross the street' in order to make the undisputed clash with Spence as all the top Welterweights were signed to PBC.
hes afraid of everyone. you cant be serious. this guy wouldnt even fight tevin farmer or alberto machado. he has a 90 ko ratio...cause he fights bums and tiny men. wilder anyone?

there is no such thing as tank being unable to fight with other promoters fighters or on other networks. thats a thing that simply does not exist. yes its usually easier to make fights when you have the same promoter(unless you are floyd and dont want any part of cotto or margarito) but most fights are cross promotional so what you are saying is totally rejected by the data. there is nothing holding tank back but himself. a fraud is a fraud

wilder redux. same exact thing people were saying when wilder was ducking joshua. why would wilder be scared? all he has to do is hit him once and he wins.

tank is not very good. i dont know if you realize that? he went life and death with isaac cruz. he clearly lost to tiny roach jr moving up. oh thats ok at least he has a great resume of...pedraza and frank martin? some tiny guys? some drained guys? hes never beaten anyone close to the top of the division. in 8 and a half years now...

does he have power? sure. can he land it effectively against good fighters? probably not. can good fighters take a shot better than the fighters tank fights? probably(cept haney). not a good combo for a guy like tank. hes spent 8 and a half years now not fighting guys. thats not a coincidence. thats not promoter problems. thats tank and his promoter trying to manufacture a star.

Knock yourself out but why would Haney want to risk his '0' against a dangerous puncher like Tank after becoming undisputed champion instead of challenging Prograis for a world title in a NEW weight class? Doesn't make sense.

In that case...list some BIG cross-promotional fights between Top Rank & PBC in recent years?

There's a reason why Crawford had to leave Top Rank in order to secure the undisputed clash with Spence.

“Tank is p—y, he’s scared to death of me,” Haney wrote on X. “He always say he wanna fight when I have a fight lined up already. Well now I’m free! Let’s make it happen.”

That’s an easy one. It’s because it’s a bad style match up for him that’s why. They are both counterpunchers and Shakur is a safety first fighter also; Who doesn’t like to get hit. Therefore, he just won’t stand still long enough for Tank to find and hit him.
