Haney became undisputed champion at Lightweight under Top Rank which is the only reason why he got the Kambosos fight. He was then forced to fight Lomachenko in his second title defence in another in-house fight. However, he immediately jumped up to 140lbs to face Prograis whereas Tank was still fighting at Lightweight.Comment

For the record, I DON'T believe that Tank is afraid of any top fighter (he has a 90% KO ratio) and vice-versa. However, unfortunately for him, he was signed to PBC whereas all the top Lightweights e.g. Shakur, Lomachenko, Haney, Lopez etc were affiliated with Top Rank at the time. Therefore, the fights were difficult to make. Just like Crawford was struggling to land a meaningful Welterweight fight under Top Rank and had to 'cross the street' in order to make the undisputed clash with Spence as all the top Welterweights were signed to PBC.Comment
