Beating Whyte like that is impressive. Whyte came in the best shape in the last 10 years.

If not Usyk, Itauma should fight Parker, Kabayel, Hrgovic or Wardley. He is only wasting rime if he keeps on fighting Whyte type ex contenders. Zhang, Wallin, Miller or Ruiz can't test him at this point.

    Bring on contenders.

He should push to fight Parker.
He destroys him within 4 too. Easy work.

But realistically his team do need to find someone who tucks their chin in and can give him rounds.

Yes Miller, Ruiz, Franklin won't beat him, but they are durable and should make it past 4. I can see why they may take these, even if it's completely one sided.

Hrgovic and Kabayel would be massive statement wins, tough, durable and probably peaking.

Wardley, Okolie. Young, awkward, strong (no I don't want to see Okolie, just saying...!)

Bakole probably needs 1 good win otherwise he will be discounted like Whyte...

I think what's really interesting is that at 20, there's probably only a tiny handful of people you think could get through 4 rounds with the guy. Everyone else we are considering no hopers.

Whyte threw ONE punch in between fits of looking like an Alzheimer's patient. Itauma is clearly talented but we learned very little new information about him last night.

As far as I can tell, Itauma still isn't ready.

From the short clip I've seen I was not impressed by the movement patterns, seems like a somewhat stiff predictable boxer with some power and has the advantage of youth against a walking punching bag looking for a check.

Honestly, would anybody pick wardley, Ajagba, Zhang, Hrgovic to beat him? These guys are all ranked top 10.

Itauma is top 10 clearly, I believe he is top 3.

Give us Usyk fighting a young future star. Nobody wants to see Usyk fighting no hopers.
