Yeah, I've always been skeptical Margaritos gloves were loaded against Cotto. Possible? Yeah. For certain? Nah.

Cotto won the rematch because he stayed off the ropes and didn't let Margarito land the same combination on him all night long.

It has never really been made very clear 'what was in Antonio Margarito's boxing gloves. I have always gave Margarito credit for his performance vs Miguel Cotto I during their first fight, it was an awesome fight and I think the absolute peak performance for Antonio Margarito'.

So I have never really been one of those people within the boxing community, who just agreed and accepted that Antonio Margarito's gloves were completely loaded 'but there is a possibility that they may have been wrapped incorrectly, which has lead to all the accusations'.

Note: If Antonio Margarito's gloves were completely illegal, then what was illegal about them? Nobody really knows, it has never been made clear to the Universal boxing community.

Nevertheless, it was a great fight and a pivotal moment in both fighters' careers 'and the build up to their rematch in 2011, featured one of the best HBO face off's of all-times'.

To conclude: Miguel Cotto was clearly traumatized by his first lost. During his fights against Zab Judah, Miguel Cotto sustained and suffered a gruesome cut. But he never really displayed much concern for the injury, and just systematically continued to fight'.

He carried a demeanour in that fight, which was very stoic and reminiscent of a Cyborg 'But after being beaten by Antonio Margarito, Cotto for the rest of his career whenever he was in a brutal fight, always seemed to overtly show signs of apprehension'. Gradually as his career progressed and he achieved more wins he did improve in this department as a fighter'.

And of course one of the most underrated feats a boxer can achieve in their career, is avenging a traumatic and brutal loss 'Miguel Cotto achieved this feta when he avenge his loss to Margarito in 2011 during their rematch' etc.

        - - Gonna make it simple for U noobs.

The Cotto fight with Marg had a Cotto relative, an uncle sign off on Marg's gloves along with the Commish where Marg as was his style put an horrific beating on Cotto.

The Mosely fight had Brother ****m checking Marg's gloves with one already signed off by the Commish. Marg had an insert of plaster crumbles on the training table that anyone could see that Bro ****m objected to and demanded a rewrap which was not only expected, but desired by Marg's team.

The reason being Marg being a Monster back then was a huge fav over Mosely who was fading as a fighter. Prob being Marg had emergency eye surgery 2 weeks before so he could pass the physical. That meant he could not work out to lose weight, so had to starve himself. The sudden prefight news was enough for fans to supplement their wagers on Marg to Mosley so they wouldn't take a loss.

So Simples that the Average BS grunt still cannot understand it. The crumbles wouldn't have crushed a fly which is why the Commish signed on to it.

Marg did everything by the Rules of the day that befuddles the average boxing duncecap to this very day...

Wrong. You've just made that up again. There was no eye surgery before the Mosley fight.

The CASC confiscated his wraps, to which they discovered had illegal plater of paris ON THE WRAPS. Not, "on the table". And thus, Margarito was banned.

That's what happened. Your revisionist version is comical but I often doubt the validity of your positions as it's difficult to believe someone can be that moronic.

Not clue what you're talking about.

You've just bare face lied and said Margarito had eye surgery two weeks before the Mosley fight which is patently false.

You also said they found "crumbles on the table", which is also false they confiscated the WRAPS and found Plaster of Paris on the WRAPS and that's why Margarito was subsequently banned.

                - - Can't even count to 2!!!!

Marg had commish approved wraps already gloved up along with the other hand being wrapped awaiting the 2 wrap still on the table.

This is why boxing is such a lousy sport...dum overseers and dummer fans...

He only got caught after they made him unwrap his hand and start over. If Naz would have let them continue wrapping before he saw them start, his hands would have been loaded in the fight.

Do we know if cottos uncle saw his hands being wrapped from start to finish?

At the time, it was explained that Margarito started wrapping his hands before anyone was actually there to watch from Mosley team

Cotto fired his uncle after for what it's worth.

Also I remember team Margarito didn't want to restart the hand wraps because someone from the commission was present when he started. But obviously they just have some $15 an hour guy off the street who didn't know wtf he was looking at.

Naz had to threaten to not fight if they didn't start over and that's when he saw the plaster pads.

Other people in the boxing world explained that they've made a big deal about starting over in past fights because of how long it takes to wrap hands and the other team gives in because someone from the commission was there watching.

Lastly, YDKSAB and stop trying to rewrite history

So are you going to admit that you just lied and said Margarito had eye surgery 2 weeks before the Mosley fight?

Margarito was not "gloved up", that's another lie.

One wrap had been approved, the other wrap hadn't. When Nazim Richardson noticed something fishy with one of the wraps he informed the commission to which they confiscated BOTH wraps, inspected BOTH wraps, and found Plaster of Paris ON THE WRAPS. NOT, "on the table".
