Exactly, it’s mostly hype. Collaborations like that often generate attention, but the chances of anything serious happening are slim, just like the Musk vs. Zuckerberg scenario.

Of course it won't.

Jake Paul is a smart man, look at how he's navigated his career in and out of boxing. He knows enough about the game right now to fully understand that AJ flattens him any time he wants.

Paul has taken two calculated risks in his "career". The first was Tommy Fury. Calculated that one wrong because Tommy has a real boxing background and he's more well schooled, more athletic and younger than Paul. I was actually surprised Jake took that fight to be honest. There was really nothing in his favour in terms of ability, experience, age or athleticism, hence him losing. They literally went on the fact he's Tyson Fury's brother that's not good enough to lace his brother's boots. They didn't factor in he's still got almost every advantage over Jake. They've not made that mistake since.

The other was Chavez, which he calculated well, but he was still a former world champ, in his 30s etc. there was enough risk there to not be a joke on paper, but they knew he was a lazy guy that just spends his life smoking weed and hasn't been serious about boxing for well over a decade.

Do they really expect us to buy that he's going to go from fighting Chavez or Tommy Fury to fighting AJ? Especially when he can't even beat Tommy.

Ridiculous stuff. Never gonna happen. I'll be amazed if it does. Unless he gets a quarter of a billion it, then you never know.
