This type of shit is reminding me a lot of Danny Garcia’s career. Who was another Philadelphia fighter.

Danny the “Cherry Picker” Garcia would turn down opportunities to fight elite fighters like: Bud Crawford, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr

Just so he could challenge some overmatched and limited journeyman type of a fighter like Adrian Granados. An opponent who had very little chance of winning and for less money.

Which was something I found both disgusting and repugnant.

He's wasting his talent like Tank by avoiding BIG fights.

I think all these other fighters are scared to fight Ennis, and especially won't fight him without a title on the line, so Ennis has to fight to become mandatory... He is still not a big draw and would be favorite against all the other fighters, so he needs to have a title to have enough to offer.

yeah they keep offering him fights and calling him out just to make it seem like they want the fight when in reality its to mask all their fear, well spotted

While what you say is true, let’s not forget Virgil fought Thomas Dulorme in his 154 debut. Do you know who that guy is? A guy Boots had knocked out 4 years earlier.

as far as i can remember ortiz was not a well man if u believe all his hospital stuff at the time, is boots a well man?

I've heard of one step forward, two steps backwards but this is about ten backwards.

This guy is so good but his opposition level is seriously frustrating.
He'll probably be past it by the time he does fight at elite level at this rate
