Fandom really poisons your perspective. People saying that Bivol is somehow ducking Beterbiev now are totally insane.

I will give Beterbiev's fans something that Bivol's fans may not: Bivol could have fought Beterbiev before 2024. Was it a risk-reward calculation? Perhaps, and one gotta account for that Bivol was with DAZN and Beterbiev with Top Rank. If you look, there were talks of fighting each other five, six years ago, but both fighters had to deal with sanctioning bodies ordering title defenses. And then you have Bivol fighting Canelo, and DAZN got caught up in getting that money-making rematch.

i sincerely doubt any of these two fighters actually would actively duck each other, they are true warriors. What their managers do is a whole different matter, and they do view boxing as a business.

straight to trilogy would be February March or April

Riyadh season runs from October to March

enjoy the pathetic cries of Artur’s fans while it lasts

they happy a fight isn’t happening next to mislabel duck and claim a moral victory for their guy after Bivol’s 8-4’d him

the same guy who also had surgery and delayed fight 1
You raise a GOOD point re Beterbiev delaying the first fight due to surgery - I'd forgotten about that.

I'm a Bivol fan and was rooting for him in both fights but I can understand Beterbiev's position after he granted him an immediate rematch within 4 months of the first fight whereas Bivol is only just having surgery NOW 6 months after.

I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Both men want to be 100% at their best for the trilogy fight...therefore, it's understandable that Bivol wants to get his back fixed. However, the side effect of that is Beterbiev (who's already 40yo) will start decaying

Bivol and his team prioritized that Saul fight first before risking it VS Artur

                  beat Saul become a star!
