Queensberry's plan for their heavyweight stable

Queensberry pretty much have every relevant heavyweight under their promotional banner beside Usyk and Joshua. What's their plan for organising them do you think?

I think they should have a more ambitious plan than simply fight-by-fight deals. A tournament or series would be much better with an end goal of establishing a premiere, standout heavyweight for the division.

There's enough there that they can all be fighting three times a year without the fear of being left out in the cold with a loss so I hope Queensberry keep them active.

Wardley - Hrgovic is a fight I'd like to see. Yoka - Joyce also.

Turki loves heavyweights, so Queensbury love heavyweights.
Milk as much of that Saudi money as possible.

Frank Warren knows that UK HWs are his money men, and he has plenty of them. I believe that's why he is not pushing for Parker to get his WBO mandatory shot. I don't believe he even wants Parker to fight Usyk next, because he knows better than anyone how good Usyk is. Joe would have little chance of winning that fight.

Frank would prefer Usyk to vacate his WBO belt, so he can have one of his UK boys - probably Moses Itauma - fight Parker for the WBO title. I believe Turki is in on this plan too, which is why he came out and said he wasn't interested in putting up any money for Usyk vs Parker.

If Turki gets his way, Fury and AJ will fight each other as co-main event with Jon Jones vs Itauma. Joseph Parker will attend the show and stand outside the ring looking dejected while the winners call out each other, and Usyk.

Then Jilted Joe will go home and make a gay looking YT video with a bunch of his Maori mates dancing on a beach in tight speedos, miming to Gladys Knight & the Pips singing "It should have been me" and begging for a date with the winners .... or with Usyk ... or with anybody who will have him.

I will be disappointed if we don't get Usyk - Parker to be honest. You really think there's a Grand Plan like that?

What does winning a vacant WBO mean at this point anyway?

I'm sure there will be a plan and I reckon that's what it is.

Whether it works out depends upon Itauma beating Whyte and Usyk relinqishing the WBO belt. Both seem highly likely to happen.

Parker being elevated to full WBO champion wouldn't mean much, except to Joe and his fans. But Queensberry, DAZN, Riyadh Season and Ring Magazine would promote and publicise the hell out of a WBO title fight between Parker and Itauma. Sure, everybody would say .. "Usyk is the real HW champion" but they would still watch the fight. And if Itauma won it, he would be on his way to boxing superstardom.

A lot depends on Aug 16 and two things - IF and HOW Moses wins that fight. I can see Moses fight Parker for the vacant WBO (assuming Moses wins and Usyk vacates) and the winner fighting Usyk next year.

This could be a plan but Parker when is he going to fight. If Itauma wins. Will be another few months before he fights so Parker could be waiting till end of the year

Take away Bakole which shouldn't even be classed as a fight, the guy was jetlagged and on 3 flights a day before the fight (i also never rated him highly like others) so apart from fighting him, Parkers last fight was March 2024 1 year and 4 months ago.

Parker vs Kabayel as co-main was the logical plan for boxing fans. Them waiting on Usyk or a vacant belt is the plan for them though.

Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions is ideally positioned in the HW division, looking to get all the belts once Usyk retires or gives up any belt.
                  1. WBC - Agit Kabayel is interim, Fury is rated #1, and Dubois is rated #2. They are all with Warren.
                  2. WBA - Fabio is the interim title holder, and with Warren. He can fight Hunter or Pulev for the title.
                  3. WBO - Itauma is ranked #1. He can fight Parker (interim) for the title. Both are with Warren
                  4. IBF - Derek Chisora is the highest-ranked IBF fighter at #2 (the #1 spot is vacant), who could fight Ajagba, ranked #3, for the title.
