The Towering Inferno is def a problem , the height he throws a lot , is always gamed , tuffer than a 2$ steak. Has shown the ability to come back from a brutal KO loss and his confidence is growing…He still leaves his chin out there for counters, has to work on that .
I read somewhere, and it may not be true, that he has very bad eyesight. And that, to an extent, was a reason why he chose to fight on the inside- he struggled to see his opponent at distances.
I know it seems a but far fetched, but was something I noted
Good observations and fair assessment from Booker. Fundora was always an anomaly in that he was gifted with the height and length and chose to take fights to close range firefights.
It was always frustrating to see him waste those traits but now that he's developing his boxing from a distance, he will be a tough putting for anyone. He's smart, resilient and he has different ways to beat you.

Why would it seem far fetched? He wears glasses. He cant box with contacts and he might he scared of lasik eye surgery. Most people dont have 20/20 vision. My self. I am blind without my contacts. I actually passed the eye exam in the military with my contacts. The one time I wore glasses while at yearly physical for the army. They told me to take off my glasses to read the board. I took them off and I couldn't read nothing. Not even a single letter. They laughed. The Army does offer lasik eye surgery for active duty soldiers just not national guard or army reserve. There's tones of people with bad vision. On top of the fact hes getting punched in or around his eyes cant be great.

The eyesight as a single issue doesnt seem far fetched, rather the whole culminating situation. It almost comes off as a genie's curse- you get tremendous height and reach, but a vision issue that prevents you from fully utilizing it.
Also, that there is this Achilles heel of sort, but that its rarely mentioned seems odd. I feel like it wouldve been brought up more.
I do actually really appreciate his height combined with his infighting. I think it gives him certain advantages that are ignored because they dont fit within convention.
I also noticed the same thing in this fight and posted a comment to that effect straight after the fight. Fundora has improved a lot since the first fight with Tszyu. He has learned how to fight tall and long and he throws a thousand punches every round without tiring (maybe there is something there - could the improvements be of the synthetic kind?) but there is one more thing as well - his confidence has gone through the roof and he is now way more aggressive. In the first fight he had a blind man in front of him and he did not go for the kill. In the second fight he was lining up Tszyu from the get go and he was going for the stoppage in every round. Even in round 7 when Tim landed a few bombs on Fundora, he went even more aggressively for the kill. That is a HUGE change in just a couple of fights.
