  • You have to give huge credit to Pacquiao.

I don’t rate Barrios and think he’s a very fortunate world champ but regardless he’s a legitimate WBC world title holder.

I also did not think Manny had any business being back in the ring with a world champion at 46 years old. I think everyone thought this was a bad idea and could only damage the legacy of Pacquiao.

However he proved us all wrong. Pac did more than hold his own, I actually felt he edged the fight and proved he can still hang with one of the best guys at 147. No farces with fake gangsters, reality stars or YouTubers. He actually went in there with an active world champion and proved he could still compete at that level.

Amazingly I actually think this fight enhances his legacy, similar to when Hopkins drew with Pascal despite everyone writing him off. I suspect the rematch is inevitable but I hope Manny walks away. Has nothing left to prove.

To me it looked like a sparring session. Like Barrios came to lose and accidentally won too many rounds.

manny has been washed for years now but like I always said, his experience is still enough to beat and get him out of harms way against these younger fighters!!

IronDanHamza told y'all!!!! experience > skills

It's not just that he's 46 years old, thats already impressive on its own!
              But
he was inactive for 4 years! Hell, after 1 year layoff most fighters need tune up fights and they look rubbish.. Pacquiao came back at the top level!
Far from his prime days but still did enough to win the fight

ESPN floated Manny v Rolly once Rolly is elevated to full champ when Boots officially goes up to 154.

Rolly will sell the hell out of the fight but I can’t expect him to actually win.

Probably will not be another Barrios fight. Rolly is so fundamentally flawed he might get caught and put to sleep. Manny may get caught coming in and get kod as well.

I actually believe that pac should have won by atleast 2 points.

What's the crazy thing about pacman is that at his age he can still hang with all those top 10 boxers at welterweight and still has a chance to kick their asses.
