  • What is next for Dubois?

I think Wardley is a very safe fight for him. Domestic level fight really.

Dubois is young and very rich. Should stay away from top dogs like Kabayel IMO. He could ve done at top level, since he has a quit in him.

Wardley or Pulev keeps him in the WBA merry-go-round which seems to have worked for him in the past.

Does an AJ rematch work for either?

I think he should rematch Anthony Joshua II 'It is still a mega fight, and? It would be a solid potential comeback win for Daniel Dubois'.

People must factor in that? Daniel Dubois has many more years left in the game, if he so desires and has the motivation to train.

Note: I have always been adamant that Daniel Dubois vs Anthony Joshua 'Had his Any Given Saturday: In reference to the NFL movie Any Given Sunday: 1999'. In order for Daniel Dubois to beat Anthony Joshua, anomalistic events had to occur. Never before as a professional fighter, did Anthony Joshua commit so many unforced errors and technical mistakes. To his credit Daniel Dubois had the awareness to seize the opportunity, but? Joshua was very close to turning that fight around, before he waded uncharacteristically into a power punch from Dubois'.

I have continually told people, within the boxing community 'That at top level Daniel Dubois is a front runner. Win or lose this has been evident in all of his fights. Even in his best ever performance vs Anthony Joshua. In my opinion the knockout which he scored vs Joshua, got him out of being systematically beat down by Anthony Joshua over the distance. Joshua had weathered the Dubois storm in the opening 4 rounds, and the momentum of the fight was moving back towards him'.

To conclude: So yes? I think a great comeback fight for both Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois 'Is to fight each other. I am most certainly sure, that Joshua is very disappointed that he was beaten by Dubois. As skill for skill in reality Daniel Dubois is not at the same level as Joshua, even at this latter stage in his career. Anthony Joshua is a superior fighter to Daniel Dubois in every single department, side by side? Their career feats achieved prove this to be true'.

I personally thought the opportunity for Anthony Joshua to avenge his loss to Daniel Dubois II had gone 'As it did appear like the trajectory of Dubois's career, was moving him away from another mega fight with Joshua. But currently right now? I would say other than a trilogy fight with Oleksandr Uysk III, a second fight against Anthony Joshua II is the most likely and easiest fight to make for Daniel Dubois' etc.

plenty of options, there is world level then there is 'usyk level'. itauma could be a big fight within a year or two, joshua rematch, even fury...in boxing you are only as good as your last performance

While he has better fundamentals than Wardley I don't think it is a safe fight.

His defence is more or less his feet, he is incapable of blocking punches or bringing his glove back to protect his chin, he is far too wide and square on too tuck it behind his shoulder. He has zero defence down that left side (or anywhere really lol).
Being that open for right hands vs someone with Wardleys power is a recipe for disaster. If it becomes a brawl Wardley has a better chin, slightly faster hands and a bigger pair of kahunas, maybe the bigger punch of the two.

If I'm Wardley I'd take that if it become an opportunity - Its a win-win for him. If he wins it gets him into title contention, a loss wouldn't be seen as much of a deal I think people would just feel ok Usyk is just that good and Wardley is still must watch.

As for who should Dubois face next I'm not entirely sure. He's not only flawed and has a lot to work on but he has quit a few times and seemed to really start to believe in his own hype and just got obliterated like he was nothing. His newfound confidence has to have taken a knock. Does his team and him go back and try develop or are they just going to keep up with this weird psychosis thing they have going on while Don Charles constantly has fights in his own head?
Such a weird dynamic with those two.

Well he collected a nice paycheck, he can go home and rest. After the smoke has cleared I’d look for a few tune up fights to get my confidence back, and wait till Usyk retires to go after one of the belts again.

He is a legitimate contender with two wins over top 10 opposition in AJ and Hergovic. He can string along a few more victories like that maybe collect a belt or two and make some decent money, but that’s where it ends.

I still wouldnt write him off against Parker (who has honestly become a little overrated) or Kabayel.

Obviously an AJ rematch would do business, maybe a Joyce rematch, he could fight Wardley, the Itauma/Shyte winner, Del Boy, Wilder.

Hes got plenty of options still. Hes just not on Usyks level.

Wardley/Parker. If he needs a confidence builder, go get his W back vs Joyce.

He isn't brave enough to fight Parker or Kabayel so who really cares what he does?
