I think Kabayel is #2 and the only potential threat to Usyk

I don't buy Andy Lee working miracles with mediocre Parker just as we seen with Dubois he wasn't really improved at all was he. He just looked rejuvenated when fighting mummies that throw telegraphed single shots.

He is more skilled, well rounded and effective. He has a better chin, better feet, he hits harder, he's a great bodypuncher with an impressive output and gas tank.
What is Parker gonna do other than dip his head and wing overhand rights?

Parker will get the fight but I don't believe he is more deserving, its as good of a fight or he poses any risk. I'm not sure what improvements he has supposedly made perhaps a little more patient and better at pacing himself?
    Kabayel does everything better, everything.

Is he more deserving because he's been given more opportunities? Because he beat Bakole who we all now know is obese and lazy, because he beat a washed Wilder who averaged about 3 punches a round? Are they really any better than a Frank Sanchez?
Kabayel has beaten a lot of shared opposition and done better against every common opponent, several of which you could make a serious case for Parker losing against.

A part of me wants Parker for Usyk but its because I frankly want him to retire undefeated, simple as that. I know if he takes a loss even at his age history will be rewritten however I'd love to see Usyk in with a real threat and one I feel would likely go down as a better win cause I have no doubt Kabayel bludgeons Dubois and the likes. I can't say the same for Parker.

Usyk wants to rest for a few months with his family why can't these two just fight each other in the meantime?

Honestly I think Usyk wants Fury 3 at least that's what it sounded like post fight.

Kabayel stylistically is the hardest opponent for Usyk, Bredis ran Usyk the closest, the size doesn't matter it's about engine and doggedness which Kabayel has both in spades.

Kabayel has really beaten good competition and looks great while doing it. He has a good offense and body attack. He has earned the #1 contender, and is very non-hyped.

Due to his age, I think he is likey to beat Usky if/ when they meet in 2026.

If the fight happens in 2025, I side with Usyk.

Parker will get a shot. But Kabayel is dangerous.

I'm happy to go with the TBRB rankings who have Parker higher. When it comes to rankings, some prefer potential over merit. The former has fewer tangibles to base the ranking on so is more subjective.

It's marginal. Before last night, any of Dubois, Parker or Kabayel would have been an acceptable title defence for Usyk. Once Dubois was picked, Kabayel and Parker should have fought each other but, of course, this is the belt-obsessed boxing age with each sitting on an 'interim' bauble neither wishes to risk.

Honestly, Parker and Kabayel should really fight each other to prove who is the most deserving of the shot.

Usyk has more than put his work in.

Parker is complete dog**** and has less of chance of beating Usyk than Triple Dumb did. At least Daniel had a punchers chance, Parker doesn’t even have that. He’s painfully mediocre, but he’s not a bit stiff idiot so I give him that.

I agree Kabayel has the best chance.

I think Parker/Kabayel would be such a damn good fight too, especially with their recent momentum. I know Parker flattened Bakole, but it's hard to give him credit given the short notice nature of the fight. Kabayel would be Parker's toughest bout since Joyce. Kabayel will not beat himself.

                    Kabayel would DESTROY Parker.

                    It would be too easy.

The body attack would be relentless, no chance Parker can run for that long, Joyce caught him easily.

Kabayel is also the closest in style to Chisora who gave Usyk problems...

...Having said that - he just wouldn't land a punch on Usyk.

The angles Usyk throws up make him almost impossible to pin down. He would tee off on Kabayel and make the body attack useless with the angles.

But I guess he's the next best option... At least he's better than Parker and probably everyone else.
