One of the biggest robberies I've witnessed in recent times! I scored it 97-93 to Khataev and that was being kind to Morrell including a 10-10 round... Most of the fight were clear Khataev rounds, the remainder were rounds where Morrell had spells of success but was still outworked in the round. I only gave Morrell the last 2 rounds. Khataev landed more punches in 6 of the 10 rounds, he landed 32 more power punches than Morrell AND scored a knockdown but still lost?? Absolute madness.

IMHO That fight was close and could've gone either way. There was no robbery.

It was a robbery on the basis that the first 5 rounds were clear Khataev rounds including a 10-8 round - its very difficult to dispute that, Even if Morrell won every round after that you'd still end up with a card where Khataev wins a close fight. Morrell did literally nothing in the first 4 rounds. In the 5th, Morrell was actually winning the round but then he got knocked down. One judge awarded 6 rounds of the fight (96-93) to Morrell which was clearly not what happened - to say Khataev only won 4 rounds of that fight is a joke when he out-landed Morrell in 6 of the 10 rounds. It was also quite su****ious the length of time it took for the scorecards to be produced.
Barring a KO, Khataev was always scheduled to lose this fight.

I don't see how it could have gone Morrell's way. I mean, which six rounds did he win?
He finished strongly but there's no way he won six of those rounds, even being generous in the closer ones, and you can't give him a draw because of the knockdown. It was one of the more blatant robberies in recent memory IMO.
Truthfully Juice Head should NOT have been able to go ahead with the fight and his promoter a sleazy slithering snake Camille, should know all about bad decisions, sorry you're not in Canada this time, eat it, swallow it and enjoy it, your guy lost the last half of the fight....

I had Morrell winning by one point. While Khataev scored a knockout down, most of the early rounds were swing rounds.
And then Morrell staged a comeback. I had the fight even going into the 10th/last round. Khataev was even winning the first half of the 10th, but then Morrell came on strong and clearly hurt Khataev. I ended up giving the last round and fight to Morrell.
It could have gone either way. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.
Oh settle down, your guy was juicing, it was a Christmas gift he even got to do the fight and get a pay cheque.
Totally agree....GI JUICE was popped for PEDs and only an idiot would think that had no bearing on Morrell getting dropped or being hurt numerous times during the fight which forced him to retreat. The fight should never have gone ahead in the first place.
