I don't want to see neither one of these guys in the tournament. Why not bring in the man who won the Contender Tournament? The Scorpion Sakio Bika.

I'd rather see Bute Andrade winner since they are they better quality of comp. But if it has to be Green he should have to earn it. Why wouldn't he want to try and get revenge on Miranda anyway.

Green just doesn't want to get his ass kicked by Miranda again. If all that bull**** he said about his colon was true then he would want revenge.

Bute-Andrade II is a week after Kessler-Ward. Taylor was next due to face Ward. If Taylor is unable to continue in the tournament, no reason why either Bute or Andrade can't fill in.
I understand the point Green is trying to make, that the resumes of Ward and Dirrell don't exactly sparkle and they were granted Super Six inclusion. But as long as the ledger reads Ward W12 Miranda; Miranda W10 Green, then I'm not exactly sure the point Green's trying to make in dismissing one guy's credentials while trying to trump up his own.

That said, Showtime is really to blame for this. They never should've promised him first dibs on an alternate slot, and really should've told him to STFU when he began whining about being excluded. HBO is roundly criticized for handing out dates without fights. Surely the network whose adopted slogan is "Great fights, no rights" should be held to similar, if not higher standards in such regard.

Allan Green is too busy staring at his opponents footwork to beat anyone in this tourney. He is a joke fighter! He is an amateur that is why he is constantly looking at his opponents footwork to see how their positioned.

I agree that Showtime shouldn't have promised him a shot, giving him a showcase fight in Oganov only to have the misfortune of him getting injured and replaced by Tarvis Simms, who Green looked terrible against. The whole thing with Green being the first alternate was sketchy enough to begin with, and he didn't help his case any in his last fight, but still expects Showtime to follow through with their previous statements?

But this is boxing... so did Green sign any kind of contract with Showtime saying he was the first alternate? I seriously doubt it. So other than having a little PR issue if they don't completely hold true to their word with Green, they aren't legally obligated to him in any way. So make him fight another fight. But screw Miranda. Bring on Bika, or just do away with Green altogether and go after the Bute/Andrade winner.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. I don't believe there's a deal in place and I dont see much of any outcry beyond Green, his handlers and maybe a few nasty editorials from "B. Artest" if they do in fact snub him.

This is why I don't support many American boxers, most have this diva attitude like they are owed something from everyone.
                      What KO loss?!

Did you know that AG was a sick man when he fought Pantera?
