Lampley is done, he had a good run at HBO but slowly he was just describing one side of the fight. Mora is just terrible.

Paulie was good. Not a fan of Mauro or Mora.

I don’t mind Mannix or Mora. They have good chemistry even if Mora often times will put his foot in his mouth.

Duboef and Mauro are ok. Their voices kinda’ grate eventually. Mauro sounds like he puts on a voice to make it sound more dramatic. He has the voice of a WWE commentator.

Joe Tessitore is kind of there as well. A guy will be iced out in a one punch KO and he screams into the mic, without reeling it back a little over the guy who hasn’t even been OK’D by the doctor as fully recovered.

Pretty sure he would’ve lost his **** had he been ringside for Pacquiao/Marquez 4 when it happened.

Why do people cry so damn much about the ringside commentating? Who really GAF? I for one don't watch alone. People around had to converse with one another. There's no quiet moment here. It's sports.

Who GAF what these commentators say? Of course, they have biases, they have opinions. What exactly do you expect? They're humans. I see what they see, I watch what they watch, so at the end of the day it's me who would decide what conclusion I come up with. Not them.
Me too, I don't put too much focus on this. I watch many boxing matches as long as time allows, not just the high-profile ones. Therefore, there are many ringside commentators that are not familiar to me. I don't care, it's the fight that I'm focused on. Sergio Mora, for example, is a boxer and you can listen to him in your face all the fine details about the fight in his view and in real time. Do I have to analyze what he says to death or just rely on myself because I see what he sees, I watch what he watches...I really don't care.

Jim talking about beards, foot size, not knowing who usyk was fighting and forgetting which round he was in was embarrassing. Felt bad for the old boy, time to pack her in

Was he a guest commentator or is he going to be a regular part of it now?

Not sure if anyone ever heard Sugar Ray Leonard call a fight. I was shocked, it felt sacrilegious but it sounded like he knew nothing about boxing.

I've been watching fights over 40 years...I can enjoy a fight despite the commentary but I definitely notice it. Some add to the fight with insight (I always thought Emmanuel Steward did this), some can detract if they are too biased or ignorant.

I rely on myself to analyze but if I'm hearing someone who's describing a fight that I don't see or repeatedly says off-base things then it becomes a distraction.
