If you had read the comments here after Shakur fought De Los Santos, you would think the world had come to an end.

Shakur is a master boxer and will smoke everyone at 135. I just hope he gets a chance to fight Tank. Tank is never going to fight Shakur.

Thank you. To those who truly know boxing will understand, that some days/fights will be better than others.
DLS is no walk in the park. He's tall and strong. Stevenson beat him the best way that he could - move, land where possible, and stay away/not get hit.

Fault Stevenson for his high IQ and understanding that some fighters are too dangerous to just let them hit you.

Just imagine facing Tommy Hearns in his prime. Hall of Famer, Roberto Duran tried to please fans the way they want to be pleased.....and got knocked out cold by Hearns. This changed the course of his career.

    Fault Stevenson for knowing better?

Mayweather knew better, which is probably why he never fought Margarito, Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez. Which is why Canelo wouldn't face Benavidez.

They have high boxing IQs.....the kind that some fans just can't understand....and will therefore call a boxer afraid, boring, etc .

Wow! Yes! That was a very entertaining fight! Zepeda did well. Great win for Stevenson and congratulations to him on defending the WBC Lightweight Title! He's one of the best!

Heck yeah, Shakur! Nice to see him just dig deep and show he really does have that dog in him. I hope he had fun with that and we will see more of that side of him, because he's had quite a few fights that were absolutely soporific. And credit to Zepeda for his warrior grit.

Stevenson would not have stood in the pocket had Farmer not expose Zepeda. Don't get me wrong, good boxing win for Shakur but I thought Farmer "beat up" Zepeda clearer in the 1st fight.

Shakur definitely won the fight by 3-4 rounds and it was GREAT to see him fighting in a fan friendly style for the first time. Hopefully he continues. Having said that, how the FUCK was Zepeda only awarded 2 rounds when he was clearly the busier fighter who pressed the action all night long and outlanded Stevenson in 5 rounds according to CompuBox?

              Wrong!

Stevenson VS Zepeda had been talked about before Zepeda met Farmer. Shakur had been calling for this fight. DLH, was afraid to allow his golden boy to fight Stevenson because he was afraid that his stock would drop and kill the Golden Boy Franchise if Zepeda lost.

Everyone knew that Zepeda would throw high volume punches. That's what he does. Stevenson is a high IQ fighter. He knew that in order to beat Zepeda that he would have to let his hands go. You can't stop a guy's momentum if you just let him hit you without earning his respect. What made you think that Stevenson wasn't going to try to earn Zepeda's respect? Your take doesn't make sense.

Did you see Stevenson VS Valdez? How about Stevenson VS Herring? He let his hands go because he needed to.....not because someone exposed them.
