GREAT dominant performance by Shakur fighting in a fan friendly style for the first time. However, it’s disgraceful that Zepeda was barely given a round as he was definitely the busier fighter who pressed the action all night long. Also, according to Compubox, he outlanded Shakur in 7 rounds so should’ve been awarded at least 3 and possibly 4 rounds.

As for Stevenson, I hope he CONTINUES to fight this way in future plus it’s good to see he has some decent power behind his shots as future opponents won’t be as durable as Zepeda.

Shakur just threw a couple of flashy flurries, that´s it. They looked good because Zepeda has straight hair, combined with the sweat of the hair, and the screaming from the crowd, impressed the judges. Terrible scoring. Zepeda was not hurt at any point and threw way ore punches but to the body. The judges and the compubpox dummies didn´t ee them. It was a draw or a win for Zepeda in Shakur´s hometown. Wasn´t Zepeda a cab driver?? Just like Maidana vs Floyd, he was robbed. Even a draw would jave been fair. Always helping the American African. Morrel was helped too. Terrible scoring.

Lol I’m not Black or woke but Stevenson CLEARLY won by 3-4 rounds. In fact, I had it dead-even after 8 before Shakur pulled away in the final few rounds. Zepeda was definitely the busier fighter who pressed the action but Stevenson landed the flusher, harder, eye catching punches ALL night long.

However, Zepeda gave a GREAT account of himself last night and made me a fan.

Idk why all these people are praising Stevenson, he went life and death with a b class fighter in Zapeda. All Zapeda is is a Michael Katsidis lite with less power. Zapeda even struggled against Farmer, that should tell you all that you need to know.

Am I crazy in thinking this was a draw ? That’s how I scored it. So much time spent by Shakur laying on the ropes with a flashy flurries while Zepeda ****** away. He is so hard to hit clean with that layback style.
