Sorry to hear about one of Anthony's trainers. God bless his soul.
Completely agree. Yarde is big, strong and punches hard. David is more skilled and he will bring violence. When Yarde faces aggressive fighters, he brings entertainment and violence.

I think it will be a heck of a scrap.

Yarde always puts up a fight and tries to win. This is one of those guys if they had more of an amateur career and started younger in age he would have been better in his pro career.

I expect toe to toe action while it lasts. Heavily favor Benny but Yarde may surprise us. He has a chance.

MulaKO You of course approve of this more than Callum, yeah man?

What is it with these British light-heavyweights fighting nothing but awful opposition then suddenly leaping to elite level?
They would be far better equipped at elite level if they simply fought each other first.

You just can not spend your career or years and years blowing out puddings in a few rounds then jump straight in with a Bivol, Beterbiev, Benavidez

I hope I am wrong and it is competitive but really I think it will just be a case of how much damage can Yarde take before the towel comes in

I wonder what changed.David said he's a Vegas fighter and he didn't want to travel to Saudi. Turki must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse ! If this fight actually happens it should be fire. But I think Yarde is perfect for Benavidez to get a spectacular knockout.

Seriously ? It happens all the time. You send an offer you know will get turned down and then you move on and claim you're being ducked. Team Benavidez does this often. You need to keep up.

I personally think Yarde vs Smith would have been a better domestic battle. Benevidez gonna eat through Yarde in 5 rounds.

Maybe but Yarde has been in with some proper big punchers and found a way to get close enough to unload. If he does the same to Benevidez has he got enough to take it?

Have they specified it's going to be in Saudi? Turki has bought fights and promoted them elsewhere under the Riyadh season banner. The reality is though that having the fight in Saudi against a Brit taps into the current biggest boxing market outside of a Canelo fight. Not a bad thing for Benevidez who is desperate for a greater profile.
